After our time off was over, everything went back to being hectic as hell. I felt so bad for how much Corey, Devyn, and Sam had taken Brendon for me. Having to work so hard to produce new music is so mentally and physically exhausting. Today, is another one of those days. Instead of Corey, Devyn, or Sam having Brendon, Shawn wants to take him. He planned a whole day out. If I remember correctly his exact words were, "Breakfast, arcade, playground, lunch, nap if needed, movies, dinner, and then bedtime with a huge blanket fort and all the toys he wants to bring. He can spend the night at my place, dude it's going to be so fun you won't regret letting him come with me."
Yeah, scary, I know, having the two most mischievous people I know together is not the best idea but hey he wants to, let him. I am not looking forward to the chaos ahead to be honest.

When I rolled out of bed at 6 am, I was already miserable. My tiredness for the past few days only getting worse. I heard the doorbell ring and opened the door knowing it was Shawn. He walked in, looked around, looked at the girls and me, and went straight to Brendon's room. There was no point in talking to us, we are practically zombies at this point and he knows how that is.

We made our way to the studio like every other day and worked out asses off. When we got home at 8 pm we all went straight to bed. As I was falling asleep I got a call from Shawn. "Everything okay?" I yawned and rubbed my eyes as my eyes adjusted to the light of my phone.

"Yeah, but Brendon wants you to tell him a bedtime story because mine suck." I could practically hear Shawn's embarrassment. I chuckled and told him to put me on speaker for Brendon.

"Hi baby. I'll tell you the story how alright? Once upon a time there was a knight, the greatest knight in all of the land. In the land he protected, there was a princess, Princess Elizabeth to be exact, and the knight thought her to be the most beautiful girl to ever be. And Princess Elizabeth thought the knight to be the most handsome man ever. But the king did not know of the knight and his daughter. Every night the pair would sneak out of their chambers and meet in the garden, and when they would leave to go back to bed the would say the same thing every time. The knight would say, 'I shall see you when the sunsets again my lady, the most beautiful lady I must say.' And the princess would say, 'I shall countdown until next sunset and wait for my handsome knight in the same spot we stand now.' But then one night, the king caught them in the garden watching the stars. He told the knight that if he wanted the princess he must be chosen by the towns people. He said that he would take a group of suitors and the knight to the town square and let the commoners pick who the princess may marry when the sun rises, he is to dress in his finest clothing to blend in. The knight agreed and went to the town square when the sun rose. When he arrived in the square he found the princess in a wedding gown with the king and a priest, the king said to him 'The real test was to see if you lived up to your word, I see you have shown up, wore your finest clothing, and are on time. You may be the perfect husband for my daughter. You are my greatest knight and I trust you shall protect her. Let her be yours now.' The princess and the knight were wed at once. They lived happily ever after and the knight kept his promise and protected the princess for the rest of their lives. He treated her the way every girl should be treated, like a princess and a queen. She treated him the way he should have been treated, she cared for him when he was ill and when he was down, they were there for each other."

"He's out now Lana. Thank you." I could head Shawn's smile, I smiled too. "Just another day for a mom. Goodnight Shawn."
"Goodnight."
