Damon's pov:

The last couple of weeks were the best I had in a long time.

People were nice to me, I was doing good at school, and my fiends...

I had been sitting with the popular kids for the past few weeks, but they weren't really my friends. Keith was. Nd of course I talked to Anna a lot. I was feeling good and I hoped that wouldn't change.

Today Keith was coming over and I helped my mother baking cookies.

"I'm so excited your friend is finally coming over!" She said while preparing the cooky dough.

"He is just a friend mom. He is coming over because we both like gaming and I to have one he hasn't" I explained before she would get anything in her mind.

She nodded and put the cookies in the oven.

"I understand, honey. I'm just happy your making friends." She replied.

The doorbell rang and I ran over before one of my siblings could open the door. They were already trying to get it.

"NO! Go sit on the couch!" I snapped and opened the door. Keith jumped and stumbled pulling a funny face. It made me laugh.

"Hey Keith." I said and he scratched his head. "Hey Damon, sup?" I shrugged and heard my siblings giggling in the living room.

"Come in, or did you plan to stay outside?" I asked him with a grin. He smiled awkwardly and came in.

"I have to warn you though, I have three brothers and a sister and they can be quite a pain in the ass sometimes." I said leading Keith inside.

"Oh, that's okay." He said quickly. The first one we bumped into was my mom, who had a wide smile on her face.

"This is my mom." I told him and they shook hands. "Hello miss Stone, I'm Keith." Keith itroduced himself shy.

"Please, call me Rachel." She said with a kind smile. "My father is at work, but you could meet my siblings." He nodded nd we went to the living room where it had become suspiciously quiet.

They sat on the couch and stared at us with innocent eyes. "As you can see, I have three brothers and a sister." I started. "This is Drake, my older brother, he is 20, but has not found a place tolive yet." I said pointing him out.

Drake greeted short before grabbing his phone. "That's Tony, the middle one, he is fifteen." I said sticking my tongue at hm, because he hates being called the middle one. He rolled his eyes at me but shook Keiths hand friendly.

"That's Lucy, my one and only sister from twelve." She smiled and shook Keiths hand wildly.

"And this is Sam." I said while patting his head. "Stop it Damon! I'm not a little child." He snapped at me. "Of course not, you're already nine years old." I said with a wink.

He looked up to Keith and tilted his head. "Nice to meet you." He said. "Nice to meet you too." Keith said with an amused twinkle in his icy eyes.

"WHO WANTS COOKIES!" My mom shouted trough the house. As if that aas their cue, all of my siblings got up and ran to the kitchen where the lovely smell of fresh baked cookies came from.

Keith laughed at the chaos and looked at me. "You're not thinking we arren't getting some are you?" I asked. He shrugged and I noticed he was quite quiet, probably just being shy and overwelmed with so many people.

"My mom baked them because you came." I said smiling and he blushed a bit. "Why would she do that?" I shrugged. "You're the first friend I'm bringing over." I said and before he could respond I turned on my heals and walked to the kitchen, knowing he'd follow me.
