Autum Walk

The swirling leaves
danced accross the wind
resting on the rock path
that led to a beautiful autum walk

The town people wore tall hats and fuzzy scarfs
Aware of the unpredictable weather
When rain fell onto the path
It'd make a view of swimming umbrellas

The benches were sat on
The colorful trees were admired
Leaves hang only by a weak stem
But the view, it was amazing

It was something out of a painting
Something out of someone's favorite dream
It was something a photograph wouldn't get the feeling of
It was something, extraordinary

With the colorful leaves
And beautiful sun set
The light of flame from the lamps glowing
And soon the orange sky would turn dark

And the moon would shine
Constellations would take your breath away
Benches would be lit up by the glow of the flame
You could sit there all night

And never get tired of looking up to the beautiful stars
Seeing shooting stars run accross the night sky
Making a wish or two
Then looking at your surroundings

And seeing how nature is when not disturbed by
Wondering humans
Listening to the owls
Seeing night animals be in peace

You now realize nature is truly
Breath taking.
