"What are you doing here?" Ella asked answering the door. "I'm here to see my brothers." I said. "Well they ain't here." "Who's at the door darling?" I heard Tom shout. "No one." Ella replied smirking at me. "bye bye." She smirked slamming the door in my face.
I left the building with my head low and got on the bus to Zalfies. Zoe answered.
"Katie?" "hey zo. Can I come in?" "Of course."
She stepped aside and I walked in. I hung my coat on the racket and took off my shoes before heading to the living room. Alfie was sitting on the sofa with Nala. Nala ran over to me as Alfie stood up and came over to me.
"What are you doing here kiddo?" Alfie asked hugging me. I broke down crying into his chest. "Come sit down." Alfie brought me over to the couch. "I'll go make some hot chocolate." Zoe said walking into the kitchen with Nala following. "Now, why don't you tell me what has happened, yeah?" Alfie asked rubbing my back. I nodded and wiped my tears.
Harrison POV:
"Hello?" I answered my phone. "Harrison?" "Hello Nikki. What can I do for you?" "Is Katie with you guys?" "No, why? Is everything okay?" "She was heading to see you guys and was meant to be back an hour ago but she isn't." "Well she isn't here." "Great. Alright I'll ring her." She sighed. "Alright. Let us know when she's back." "Will do."
"Everything alright?" Tom asked as I hung up. I looked at him and Ella on the couch. "Your sister isn't home. She was meant to come here but never did." I explained. Tom got out his phone and dialed a number before placing it to his ear.
Alfie POV:
Katie fell asleep with her head on my lap. Her phone began to ring so I reached over and got it. I looked to see it was her brother.
"Hello?" "Hello. Who is this? What are you doing with my sister?" Tom snapped. "Calm down Tom. It's me Alfie." I chuckled. "Oh right, sorry." "No harm done." "Is Katie with you guys?" "She is." "Can I talk to her?" "Nope." "Well why not?" "She's asleep mate." "Oh ok. Well, can you tell her that I called when she wakes up." "Course." "Thanks bye."
I hung up and placed the phone back in Katies pocket just as Zoe walked in. She smiled when she seen Katie asleep.
"She looks so peaceful asleep." Zoe smiled. "That she does." I whisper and tuck a piece of Katies hair behind her ear.
