We can't mom, her hearts still beating

Alfie POV:

"Alfie!!!" Zoe said running in all panic.
"What! What's wrong?" I asked jumping off the couch and rushing over to her.
"Katie's in hospital!!" She exclaimed.
"What!!? Why!" I asked, scared.
"A car hit her." She said with tears streaming down her face.
"Hey hey hey!! Shhs, it's ok, it's going to be ok." I said pulling her into a hug.
Zoe cried into my chest.
"Shhs, we'll go see her and see what's going on ok?" I asked as she calmed down.
"Ok." She sniffed.
"Alright."

I grabbed my car keys and locked the door before getting in and driving to the hospital. When we got there we seen Harrison walking to the elevator.

Harrison POV:

"Harrison!!"
I looked up to see Alfie and Zoe rushing over towards me.
"Oh hey guys, guess you heard." I said.
"Kinda hard when it's all over the news." Alfie said trying to lighten the mood.
"Well I'm just heading up if you want to come with."
They nodded and we went into the lift.

"How bad is it?" Zoe asked.
"she's in a coma. But her heart is beating which is a good sign." I said.
Zoe looked down and Alfie rubbed her back.
"How long?" Alfie asked.
"Around a month now." I said.
"How come we didn't get any notification of it."
"We didn't want to worry you guys. We know how you are with her, nearly as bad as the boys." I smiled at the end.
"So the best way is by the news?"
"Wait it's on the news."
"Yea."
"What does it say?"
"That she is in this hospital but the doctor wont give information on her situation."
I sighed and rubbed a hand down my face.
"This wasn't meant to happen." I sighed.

The elevator dinged and the doors opened. We walked out and I led them down the hall to where Katie was currently.

Tom POV:

I held Katies hand as she 'slept'. It's been about a month since she's been like this. I haven't left since the day she came in. I just watch her in the hope that she will open her eyes. The doctors come in and out to check on her. The door opened and I looked up to see it was the doctor. He nodded to me and went to check Katie.

"How is she?"I asked as she write on her clip board.
She sighed and looked at me.
"Tom I really don't want to tell you this but it's been three months and she hasn't woken up, I think we might need to call it." She said sadly.
"What, no." I cried.
"I'm sorry Tom but it's been 3 months."
I just sat there as she moved towards me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"I'll call your family and inform them when they arrive."

She left the room and I just looked at Katie. The door opened again and I looked to see Harrison with two people behind him.

Harrison POV:

I opened the door of Katies room to see Tom sitting there with tears in his eyes. He looked at us as we sat down, me beside Tom while Alfie and Zoe sat across from us. They looked at Katie with sad eyes.

"Tom, what's wrong?" I asked when I seen a tear fall.
"It's been 3 months Harrison," He started and I gathered what he was saying.
"No" I started.
"They said we should call it." He said before breaking down.
I rubbed Toms back as he cried into his hands.
"No, please no." I begged looking at Katie.

I looked up when the door opened. I turned to see Nikki and Dominic with the twins and Paddy behind them. I shook my head at them before looking at Tom. Nikki ran over and kneeled beside Tom pulling him into a hug.

"I know sweetheart, I know." She whispered.
"We can't mom, her hearts still beating, she can make it, please say we aren't." He begged her.
"Notings final yet, sssshhh, it's ok." She said looking up at Dominic.

"We'll leave you guys alone. Is it alright if we inform the others?" Alfie asked as he and Zoe stood up.
"Yea, thanks Alfie, Zoe." Dominic said.

They left leaving me and the Hollands in the room. The only sounds was everyones sadness.
