Inside of a laboratory, where there are many machines around the area and a black desk is all over the place with multiple sheets, a cup of coffee and a three-screened computer, with a woman sitting on an office-computer chair while putting her black phone on her ear. She swirls around, revealing her full appearance.
The woman has dark green eyes, tanned skin and dark brown hair tied up in a ponytail. She wears a black goggle with blue lenses over her head, a green buttoned shirt, a brown belt with a golden buckle, dark blue trousers, black boots and gloves.
"Is that any sort of way to ask your sister?" The woman named Tori asked him.
"Just what the Irk do you want?" Zim asked her over the other line.
"Fine," Tori sighed and then asked, "Did you find out where she is yet?"
"No, Zim hasn't," He told her, making her puff and breathe out, "But do not fear, human-sister, the great almighty Zim have managed to gain some SEG officers' trust, so Zim can convince them to tell them where Ate is, then we should be fine."
"And who the hell are those officers I might ask?"
"If Zim remembers their names correctly, it's Fiona-earthworm, Dib-stink, Min-Jung-werewolf creature and Lily-earthworm," Zim responded to her, which she holds the phone by her shoulder and starts typing on the computer.
"And what's their surname?"
"Zim only knows Dib-stinks' one, which happens to be Membrane."
"What!? As in, Dib Membrane, the son of the deceased Prof Membrane and now, prince of Gerasal Kingdom by marrying Fiona Ashworth?" Tori asked in shock.
"Yep, that Membrane," Zim answered her question.
"...I'm sure you already know about him, but he is no longer a Membrane now," Tori told him, "His full name is Dib Ashworth now, so keep that in mind."
"...Honestly, Zim doesn't care," Zim told her, then asked, "What about the other three?"
"Do you know their last names?"
"Well, if Zim remembers correctly, Min-Jung's is Hann while I have no idea about the Lily-earthworm though," He told her, making her start researching.
"It might take awhile to research those two you mention, but I can tell what Fiona is like, but keep in mind some of those are just rumours."
"Alright then." Zim starts willingly listen to her through the phone.
"Okay then," Tori said before taking a deep breath and starts explaining, "As you already know, Fiona is the princess of Gerasal Kingdom as well as the next in throne, however despite this, she is also the youngest of her family and the healthiest one as well, which happen to be the main reason why she's gonna be next in line."
"Huh? I thought the oldest can be next in line and what does her status have to do with her health?"
"That's true, but in her situation, it makes sense," Tori said with Zim tilting his head in confusion, "You see, the Ashworth family are infamous for inbreeding to keep the family 'pure' or some other bullshit their screwed up minds said, but I digress," Tori shook her, "You know the problems of incest breeding, right?"
"...Not really, all Zim know it causes recessive diseases and other stuff," Zim said, "I never understood why a few earthworms would do those kinds of filthy things."
"I understand your confusion and I agree with your opinion, but let me explain more in depth," Tori starts explaining, "You see, besides those recessive diseases you mentioned, it also causes inbreeding depression and no, it's not where someone is sad that their relative doesn't want to fuck them. It's where the child of incest is infertile due to their genes not working the same way as a child of two unrelated parents."
"Okay, but that doesn't explain why she's next in line."
"I'm getting to that part!" Tori yelled at him, "So basically most of her siblings are either infertile or contacted a recessive disease, leading to them to die young; her only sibling alive right now is her older brother, who is infertile and now being treated in a hospital for his disease."
"...How many died?" Zim hesitantly asked her.
"...About eight died," Tori said to him with a serious look, making Zim look genuinely caught off guard.
"Wha-what?!"
"Pretty fucked up, huh?" Tori said, "So now you know why she will be next in line; it's because she's the only one who is not only fertile but also doesn't have a recessive disease, meaning she is perfectly healthy and suitable to be next in line."
"But, why?" Zim asked, "How come she's the only one who didn't inherit any of those problems every child of incest faced."
"Nobody knows," Tori responded, "Either it's dumb, pure luck that the couple was able to get a healthy child or... if the rumours were true, then she would be the child of an affair."
"What?!"
"Of course, keep in mind that this is just a rumour, so there's a chance of being false," Tori warned him, "But a lot of people think either the queen or the king has an affair with one of their workers, leading to Fiona's existence, but nobody is not sure which one is which, so now you understand."
"Yep, Zim thinks he got it," Zim said.
"Good, now stay there before I get Leo to pick you up."
"Why can't you do it?"
"Do you honestly think I have time for that kind of shit?" Tori asked rudely, making Zim rolled his eyes over. "Besides, I need to research on the two you mentioned anyways, so really, it's not my problem."
"...No..."
"Glad you understand...bye brother," Tori said before grabbing her phone from her shoulder, press the red icon and put it on the desk.
Tori gets up and gets out of her lab while shouting, "Leo! I need you to pick up Zim!"
A/N - I'm the type of person who believes in love has no limits...ok, not really, there are boundaries people that should never cross or else you're screwed! Just my piece of advice; Only love someone who is NOT related to you in any way shape or form AND someone who is at least close to your age or both of you are adults at the very least. Just saying.
