The next 3 or 4 shows blurred together because I felt like they were back to back to back.. which they were. One a day. set up, take down, drive, sleep, set up, take down, drive.. and so on. It was busy. A couple crew members were sick and we had to figure out how to get stuff done with out them for a couple shows. I was running every which way so was everyone else on the team. It made it go fast, but it sure was stressful at times. There were times where I would go stand out in the quiet of outside the arena during the show. It was cold and the air helped ease me.
Besides working, my dad and I got to have one lunch together which was nice. I was happy not to be completely attached to him and to be working independently, but sitting and talking with just him was nice.
"I just have to ask," He said and I was instantly on edge and refraining from taking my next bite which was on its way to my mouth.
"Is Shawn like into you? do you guys got some thing going? like what is that? Crew members are asking and I don't have answers and nobody is asking Shawn I don't know why. I mean I totally should, It would scare him to death that poor kid." He chuckled.
"Yeah dad, thats kinda a weird thing to ask.." I muttered referring to him asking me about my love life.
"No, big deal to me ya know, Sadie girl. I like that kid and you are your own person, you could date lil Jon for all I care as long as he treats you well." He told me. He shook his head probably thinking what I was thinking, imagining me with Lil Jon the rapper.
"I don't know about me and Shawn. But I can tell you it sure is something. " I laughed lightly. I continued, "Honestly you might get a better answer from him."
"Why don't you guys talk about it?" He asked.
"I don't want to mess up whatever it is. I am actually having fun.."

"I'm picking family dinner tonight!" Shawn shouted dramatically to every crew member present who was efficiently taking down our equipment.
"And it is your favorite." he said more softly and bopped me on the nose. This brought a smile to my face instantly.
"And what is my favorite?" I asked curiously.
"Only the finest seafood on the east coast." He said elegantly. "Now go get ready, I'll get the rest of the stuff." He said to me as I helped picking up the dressing room.
"Are you trying to steal my job?" I asked him grabbing my water bottle to bring with me.
"I am simply allowing you time to prepare yourself for a seafood feast, attire is black." He informed me. I just smirked at him and left for the bus. About a minute after, Shawn sent out a text in our crew text message informing everyone where dinner was and what to wear and the time. Then following a note saying a sappy message about how much he loves us and blah blah blah.
I was excited to dress up a little. I dress business or nicely casual for this job, I am around people and dealing with people a lot. But we haven't gone to a nice dinner on tour yet.
Luckily while packing like an insane person, I managed to bring some nice outfits. Especially for something like this which was last minute. This morning for all I knew we would be having dinner at IHOP and I didn't care I just knew I would get to eat.
It was weird because the bus didn't fill with people trying to get ready like I suspected. Maybe the boys had their stuff already and were getting ready in the dressing room and thats why I was rushed to leave.
Gloria was put together and looked nice and waited for me to finish getting dolled up. She was watching some talk show with her feet up on the table. I pulled on my 'little black dress' in the back room. I really adored this simple dress, it fitted my body well and was tight at the hips and flared out slightly. It showed a little cleavage and made me feel confident. I slipped on a pair of heels Champagne pink open toed heels with cute strapped wrapped around my ankles. I pulled out a bracelet and finger combed my curls and I was ready to go.
"Oh don't you look like a doll!" Gloria exclaimed shutting off the Tv.
"Shawn is not gonna know what to do with himself." She laughed. Her laugh was contagious.
I got out of the bus and was immediately cold. Our driver was here but I was set on walking inside the back of the venue to find the band and Shawn who I thought would've been waiting on me.
To my surprise, well I was quite startled, they were putting stuff in the bottom of the bus and were right there.
Shawn stood back up instantly walking over to me with a smiley grin on his face. He looked me up and down and grabbed my freezing hands.
"I want to compliment you, I really do, but you're freezing. Lets get you to the car." He said immediately rushing me to our SUV.
Everyone looked nice, all his band mates wore slacks and nice dress shirts. Shawn was the fashion icon with a tightly fit patterned suit with a black undershirt. He was handsome with his hair done all nicely, even better than before the concert.
Once they all finally piled in the car, Gloria in front, we went off for some good grub.
Shawn smelled incredible, I could've eaten him up. Once music was playing and the other people were occupied, Shawn turned to me and leaned in close.
"You look incredible. I'd like you to check your phone." He whispered and grinned looking forward at the road. Curious, I looked down at my phone and Shawns message.
Shawn: I was catching feelings before but now if anyone were to ask, I'd admit I was love struck. For it not for the people surrounding us constantly, including in this car, I would be all over you.😍
I was caught off guard by the message and quickly turned it over. We glanced at each other and I am sure we both looked like we were up to no good. I wasn't sure how I was feeling. I was excited, by all of it. The attention, the attraction, the lust and the idea of Shawn and how much I adore him as a person.
I hadn't ever felt this way before. It was a new feeling, and I wasn't sure if it was scaring me or just making me feel like I was on a thrill ride.
We arrived at the restaurant and Shawn held my hand proudly and we all had a crew photo and Shawn and I had photos and everyone mingled and froze our asses off. Paparazzi was there, I wasn't sure if it was intended for Shawn or if some other celeb was here. But I was self conscious of photos and media and all of that. I was frankly scared of being in public eye the way Shawn is. After we were in the the building and seated everything felt more normal. The place was elegant and calm. I was excited for food.
"How did you know this was my favorite food?" I asked Shawn quietly. He looked up at me from across the table. "You mentioned it before."
I didn't remember that but I guess it was sweet of him to remember. Throughout the ordering process, the eating process and the chill after process the crew bonded and talked and laughed and finally relaxed. We had a night drive and another day window before the next show, and we were leaving the east coast.
Throughout dinner, I caught Shawn staring at me and differently than the normal glance. It was flattering.
Dinner was phenomenal and I was full. We had a long drive on the bus ahead of us tonight. Gloria looked beat but I knew she slept today, but I bet she could go for a big ole nap before driving.
We load in vehicles to whatever transportation we were using to get to Ohio. Gloria got in her driving clothes and started driving as we all got ready for bed. I was standing with a firm grip on the counter as gloria hit the highway. I was removing my makeup and taking my turn of brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink. Band boys were washing up and either fast asleep or lounging around with some sort of entertainment holding their attention.
I walked in the back room to say goodnight to Shawn but was pulled in and he slid the door closed behind me.
"Listen," He said sharply before placing a slow kiss onto my lips. I was surprised but I felt myself relax just under his touch.
"Thats all I wanted to tell you." He grinned.
"Goodnight Shawn" I said before sliding the door open and looking back at him before crawling in my bunk.
Goodnight to me.
