"No it's totally fine, you can call me anytime." I speak into my phone.
"You can absolutely learn that overnight. Yes, look up that one chemistry professor on youtube, I am 99% sure he has a video on it."
"Use the back of the book to check your answers and if they don't match, try again, cause you'll figure it out once you know what you're looking at. If you're still stressing send me the questions and I'll find some time today to work on it so I can explain it to you....Yeah totally, no sweat. I got you."
"It'll be a good distraction. I think we are going to lunch later but that'll be the only obstacle...yeah...mhm..okay..goodluck, bye!"
Shawn peers at me over his laptop in bed. His eyebrow raised.
"Your sister." I informed him. A grin appeared on his face.
"What?" I ask.
"I just love that she's contacting you now, instead of through me. I obviously can't help with a lot of her homework these days."
I chuckled. "We talk probably more than you realize."
"I love that." He admits and continued to do whatever he was doing on his computer.

For a while, Sadie went and did laundry. She came back looking more pleasant than when she left. She explained that Preston was in there to keep her company and they had a fun time listening to music and looking at tour memes that the band mates had found the other night.
Unfortunately, we all received a text from Lewis that someone had found out where we were staying and now there was a crowd outside. Normally I would go out for a while and talk to my fans and take pictures but I really wasn't for that today. With the whole Madison thing, I felt frustrated that we couldn't be left alone for the day. I felt conflicted and I knew that if I went out there and wasn't myself I'd be ridiculed, and if I didn't I would be shamed. This dug at me the whole time we sat at the hotel. I pulled on a comfortable outfit and a hat for our crew lunch. Sadie was going without getting ready much either. She wore my tour hoodie and jeans and vans. She hide her face with glasses. I knew she knew about the people outside, but we never discussed it.
The crew met up in the hall before going down to the lobby together. Our cars were waiting out front. As soon as we got to the lobby we could hear people outside and could now see some through the window and front doors. They were now screaming. I reached for Sadie hand as she stood on her tiptoes to see everyone outside. Crew members made comments like, "Here we go again" "Oh wow" and a lot of frustrated sighs. Everyone needed some space, we have all be squished together for weeks. We started for the door in a big clump, David reminded me that it wasn't the time to stop. I knew that.
"Looks like TMZ is here." Lewis commented. Great. I felt Sadie nervously grip our interlocked fingers.
In a whirlwind of pushing, shouting and people screaming my name and Sadies name we barely made it to the car. As the band crawled in the back, some guy from TMZ shouted a couple questions at us. "Whats it like losing a member of your Mendes Army? Are you doing a tribute to Madison? Whats the future look like for this tour?"
I barely even heard before the door shut to the car. I wanted to pull my hair out. Sadie rested her hand on my leg as I rested my face in my hands completely overwhelmed from the situation.
Lewis sat in the front and directed the driver up the road. When we arrived at the restaurant, to our surprise TMZ was there too. How do these things get out?
"You've got to be kidding?" Lance blurted looking out the window to the two guys with a camera and mics.
"Fuck." I whispered under my breath. Sadie looked rather frazzled but didn't complain. Lewis told us to wait to get out until the whole crew pulled up behind us. Once we could get out, the tmz guys quickly rushed to us and walked next to us, camera in both Sadies and my face.
