"That's the last of the dishes."

"OK, thanks Libby. Come and wake me if your visions start acting up again alright?" She nods coming over to wrap her arms around me, I kiss her hair and hug her back tightly.

"I will. Thanks for dinner, goodnight Violet."

"Goodnight Libby."

"Goodnight big brother."

"Goodnight little sister." My smile widens at watching the interaction between her and Alex, unintentionally my hand goes to my belly.

We watch the little girl skip out of the room and when she was out of sight Alex walks towards me grabbing a towel to help me dry the dishes.

"You know you don't have to help me, right?"

"I know. There was something that I wanted to ask you though."

"I knew it." I joke. He smiles at me as I gently push him with my shoulder but fall silent again a moment later. "What's on your mind Alex?" I ask.

"Have you thought anything more about the baby?" I hesitate.

"I want Charles to be the godfather and Sean, Hank, Libby, and Moira, as aunts and uncles."

"What about me?"

"The dad of course." He pauses in his actions and I just continue. "I mean, I always dreamed that you would be the father to my children but now that we're at the age for that to be happening it's weird to think about it."

"Violet."

"And as for names I only have one if it's a boy, I was thinking about..."

"Violet." Alex turns me around. Keeping a tight hold on my shoulders he pushes his lips harshly against mine effectively shutting me up from continuing to ramble.

Without missing a beat, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him as close to me as I can. Now that we're finally alone I don't have to hold anything back. Alex releases his hold on me and rushes to place his hands on my waist, not wanting to release me in any way now that we're connected. Without breaking the kiss, he licks my bottom lip wanting entrance. I allow him too and our tongues battle for dominance until my saliva blocked the way for air into my lungs.

I back away from Alex and spit into the sink until I'm able to get the water out of my airpipe, when I was done I sink to the floor and concentrate on my breathing. Alex comes to sit next to me placing his hand on my knee, I smile at him and move so that I'm cuddling into his chest happily.

"I never realized that you wanted anything like this." He murmurs softly leaning his head against mine and rubbing my arm. I nod. "Is that the only reason that you put up with me for so long?" I start laughing which causes him to laugh with me.

"Maybe." I joke.

"I knew it." He smirks.

Once I get my breathing back under control I hold onto him tighter. "In all honesty I always knew that you were the only one for me. I never wanted anyone else and I never saw what any of the other girls did when they looked at the popular boys in school." I replied.

"It's good to know that I wasn't the only one thinking that." My eyes move as far up as they can to look in his beautiful blue eyes.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously serious." He smiles placing his fingers on my chin to move my face so that we could look at each other better.

But before he has the chance to pull away I push his face closer to mine and force my lips on his but gentler then what he did to me earlier. He smirks against my lips but continues kissing me none the less. This kiss was different too. Before it was hasty, like neither of us could believe that it was happening, but this one was slow. It was filled with more love and the patient, intimate kind of love that we have always had since childhood. We break away when we were low on air, but we kept our foreheads together with smiles glowing on our faces. Alex leans towards me and gives me a feather light kiss while touching my stomach, his warm hand surprising me as I accidentally flinch.
