2. Love bites

I never really understood the price of immortality until I was cursed with it. The day I knew my life was over was when that wicked woman bit me and turned me into one of her slaves. Takashi Shirogane. I'm a Vampire if you haven't noticed but I am. It doesn't look like it from your angle but don't be fooled by my charms.

I bet you're wondering why am I living in a crappy apartment? Have an on and off again girlfriend? The ghost and the purpose? Well let's face it. My life was never normal to begin with. I had to blend in with years to come and see everyone I knew die and keep moving forward. All those years I took the time and trained myself to be good and not some low life blood sucker some might be.

For example, My darling Allura has been with me since the 1920s. Met her during a show. Her eyes twinkling in the dim lights and her skin like a beautiful plum. She was gorgeous beyond compared. Maybe that's why I fell for her. Since that night we were together forever. Well more or less. Allura loved playing games. Typically I wouldn't mind but when her games turned violent I would draw the line.

There was one time I came to our shared studio apartment to a bloody mess. Our floors covered in dark red blood. The smell drove me insane and I found her sucking the life of an innocent person. She was drunk on blood. After that I left her but we still kept in touch. Now fast forward to the present and we're slowly getting back together.

She's cleaning up her act and acting like a mature woman. But she's determined to win me back, it's gonna take some time. That doesn't mean I would take her in a heartbeat. I mean I would but not seeing her break like before. It's too much and I can't deal.

As I reached her apartment she opens the door and holds that smirk of hers "Hello darling, missed me?" Damn of course I missed her and the way she's dressed isn't helping either. In a silk pink robe and matching lace underwear and bra. It was begging me to pull it off and take her right there. "Of course I did. You left town without telling me"

I caressed her face as we moved inside as she smiles innocently "Sorry love, had to take care of business. You know vampire stuff" she giggles while we kissed; slowly  slipping her silky robe off "A text would have been nice.." she pulls my hair as a low groan rumbles in my throat. The gaze she gives me sends sweet tingles down my back "No service~" that's truly hard to believe but right now I didn't care cause we can always talk after we're done.

As I caressed her arm and kissed her neck I decided to ask. "Where'd you go? Be honest with me Allura." She sighs and looks at me annoyed "It doesn't concern you. Drop it Shiro." I sat up and crossed my arms as she pulls her hair in a messy bun "It kinda does Allura. You're the only vampire in this city that I trust. So I need to know. If you are seeing someone just tell me I wont be upset." She rolled her eyes as she scoffs "Is that what I'm to you? Just a person to let you know? Why does my personal life concern you? I thought you trusted me darling?" I hate when she puts the blame on me "Of course not, Allura I trust you. We've been together since 1920. It's 2025, give me slack if I want to know where my girlfriend is."

She rolls her eyes as she sighs "You're gonna be upset with me if i tell you thr truth." I tilted my head as I gave her a look of concern "Why? Please tell me you didn't go to a blood house." She sighs and avoided looling at me. "I did go to a blood house. I went over my limit and they had to kick me out." I groan "Are you relapsing again?" "I'm just scared Shiro. I heard the blood in humans are making vampires sick and it's dangerous for us to hunt." I looked at her hands seeing the ring I gave her a long time ago. It's on her right ring finger.

"Doesn't mean you overdo it. Allura I love you and care about you but you can't keep doing this.." "I'm older than you!" She hissed as I did the same "I know that! Don't hiss back to your mate!" She scoffs and crossed her arms "I knew you would be upset." "Allura it's fine. I better go before Keith worries where I've gone."

"You mean that mutt? Why are you living with him? You know you could always live with me~" she says as she wraps her arms around my neck as she starts kissing it. "No..I can't. Not again. Not yet." She groans and lays back on the bed "Suit yourself. Next time I'll charge you for the sex" she had her grin of hers as i pulled her closer towards me

"You do that and I'll never come back.." She laughs and pulls me for a kiss "You are so evil. I love it" "just for you princess." As I dressed myself and headed back home I see a few people surrounding something "Is anyone a doctor!" I rushed and saw a little boy bleeding to death from his neck. Oh no. "Stand back! Call 911!" As I held my hand to hold in the blood the boy looked pained "Hhhhh.." "Hey it's okay just stay calm"

As the ambulance took the boy I rushed home as i get there Keith is in horror and same goes Pidge "What the fuck happened to you?" "Shiro? Did you?" "What?! No I would never! A little boy was bitten." "Was it a Vampire?" "I guess. Probably a newborn. By the mark it left it was feeding." He nods "Well I'm off to bed. But before I do I got a date with Lance." I smiled

"I told you he liked you. You were worrying for nothing." "Yeah I'm actually excited for it." I pat his shoulder as i smiled "Good. Also Allura mentioned she left me something?" "There" I thanked him and grabbed the box. "Where'd you go?" "Her place for a bit. We were catching up" I smirked as he pushed my shoulder "You're disgusting. I'm off!"

Keith left and Pidge appeared by my side "What do you see in her?" "What do you mean?" "Like in her? She's a bit rude and acts snobby." "She's not rude it's just she's only used to vampires and not other supernaturals. She'll come around." She disappears and I head towards my room. All I can say..Love Bites.
