Chapter 1: The Day Before Fall Break Begins.

Chapter 1:

Emily woke up for the day and glanced over at the clock sighing to herself then slowly sitting up and getting out of bed to get ready to go to school. "I still think its ridiculous that school starts this early." She says to herself as she walks into her closet to pick out an outfit for the day. She looks around and finally decides to wear a light grey pair of sweats and a t-shirt. "I suppose I can be lazy today. After all today is the last day before fall break."

She smiles a bit then goes into the bathroom to get ready for the day. She comes back out 30 minutes later ready for school and checks the clock again. "6:45 better get breakfast ate and get to school." She grabs her bag then walks downstairs to make herself some breakfast since her mom is out of town on business for the next couple of weeks.

She goes over to the fridge and gets out some eggs, milk and then grabs a box of pancake mix starting to make herself some pancakes and eggs, while the eggs and pancakes are cooking she makes herself some toast then puts it on a plate waiting for everything else to finish cooking. A few minutes later she puts the rest of her breakfast onto her plate then walks over to the counter and sits down on a bar stool eating her food.

After eating her breakfast she puts her plate in the sink then grabs her car keys and walks toward the door. She glances around one last time making sure she isn't forgetting anything then opening the door and going out to her car getting in and starting it. "I wonder if Ali needs a ride to school." She says as she pulls out of her driveway and decides to call Ali.

Ali answers the phone on the first ring. "Hello?" Ali says. "Hey Ali, I was just leaving for school and I was wondering if you needed a ride to school or not?" Emily replies. "That's very sweet of you to offer Em but, I don't think I'll be going to school today I don't feel very well at the moment." Ali says.

"Oh no. Are you sick?" Emily says feeling worried and frowns. "Should I come over? I could help keep you company for the day?" Emily asks. "No Em, I'll be ok don't worry about me. Go to school and have a fun last day. I'll text you later." Ali says to her. "Ok Ali if you're sure. I'll go but if you need anything, and I mean anything call me." She says not really wanting to go to school now that Ali isn't going to be there.

"I'll talk to you later Em." Ali says as she hangs up the phone then lays her phone down beside her bed. "I can't let her know what's going on. Not just yet." Ali says then lays back down on her bed and sighs.

Hey everyone! I really want to say thank you for reading the first chapter of my story. Tell me what you think. Also...what do you think is going on with Ali? I'm still trying to decide if I want to do chapters that are p.o.v. based but I'm not really sure what to do. If you guys have a preference as to what you like to read more please tell me in the comments or send me a message. As for this fanfiction...in this Ali and Emily aren't together just yet...but don't worry they will be soon. Right now they are kind of just really close friends.

Also in this fanfic Ali and Emily are both in their senior year of high school and they are 18 years old for anyone who's wondering, this fanfic is sort of based off of some of the show or some things that happened in the show rather...but there will be some differences from the show. Anyways, again Thanks for reading and I really hope you enjoyed this first chapter. I'm going to try and update this story once a week minimum hopefully more though. ~M <3
