As Long As I Have You

Chapter 4:

~Last Time~
“That was weird. Who lies about being in a relationship? And why?” She shakes her head then gets up and starts getting ready to go meet Ali.

~Now~

Emily searched through her closet looking for something nice to wear to go and have breakfast with Ali. “This looks cute.” She holds up a flowy shirt and some shorts in front of her looking in the mirror. “Nah, Let’s see what else I can find to wear.” She keeps looking through her closet for a bit finally deciding on a pair of dark jeans and a T-shirt to wear and some Tennis shoes then walks downstairs and grabs her keys going to her car and driving to meet up with Ali.

Ali goes into her closet and picks out a light blue dress with roses on the end of it and smiles. “This is perfect.” She puts it on and looks in the mirror. “I’m sure she will love this.” She picks out a pair of shoes to match her dress grabs her phone and her purse and goes downstairs getting into her car and driving to the Grille.

Emily parks and gets out going inside and sitting down at a table waiting for Ali feeling really nervous. “I have no idea why but this kind of feels like a date.” She thinks to herself and keeps waiting for Ali while looking over the menu.

Ali parks when she gets to the Grille and gets out walking inside the restaurant and looking around for Emily. She finally spots her then walks over to the table and sits down across from Emily looking a little bit nervous.

Emily looks up from her menu and smiles at Ali. “You look really pretty in that dress Ali.” She says blushing a little as she compliments her.  “Thank you Em.” Ali blushes furiously at the compliment and looks down at her menu. “You look great too by the way.” She smiles. “Thanks Ali.” Emily replies and keeps looking over her menu. “So what are you thinking of getting to eat?” She looks at Ali.

Ali looks over the menu then up at Emily. “I was thinking maybe an omelet, I’ve heard they are pretty good.” She smiles and puts her menu down. “Yeah I’ll probably get the same thing.” Emily says as the waitress comes over to take our order. “I’ll have an omelet with mushrooms and tomatoes please.” Ali says to her. “And a water to drink.” She smiles.

“I’ll have the same.” Emily says. “But can I get a coffee to drink with mine please.” The waitress writes the orders down and walks off. “Since when do you like tomatoes Ali?” Emily questions. “You’ve hated them since we were young.”
Ali looks at her and shrugs. “I’ve just started liking them a lot recently. I don’t really know why.” Emily looks at feeling confused but nods. “Oh, Alright.”

…

20 minutes later the waitress brings their food over and sits it down on the table. “Thank you. It looks great.” Emily says and Ali nods as they both begin to eat their food. “This is amazing!” Ali says and laughs a bit eating. “I agree. It’s delicious.” She smiles and eats as well.

After they finish their food Emily looks at Ali. “Ok, Now it’s time to talk about the reason why we came here.” Emily says and Ali nods feeling really nervous. “Right well It’s very complicated but I might as well just come clean.” Ali says and looks over at Emily. “I lied about having a boyfriend because I was covering up something else that’s going on.” She says. “I lied because some crazy stuff has been happening these past 3 months.” Ali says and takes a deep breath as she begins to explain why she lied.

A/N:  I know I left it on a cliffhanger but I just had to because I really wanted Emily to know what’s been going on in Chapter 5 instead of this chapter but I promise that you guys will find out what’s going on in the next chapter. Everyone should leave their guesses as to what they think is going on in the comments cuz I would really like to know what you all think is happening. Chapter 5 will be added soon.
