Astrid and Hiccup were lounging around Hiccups apartment, a movie softly playing in the background. Both teenagers were really tired as they had just finished year 12, and now didn't know what to do with the time. While they did look comfortable and relaxed, Astrid's mind was going crazy.

Hiccup and Astrid had been going out for quite a few months now but neither one had ever said 'I love you' to the other. Astrid, not being the lovey dovey type, always thought that Hiccup was going to say it first and thought that she would just say it after him. But now sitting here with her boyfriend, she was having some doubts.

Hiccup had dosed off to sleep and while Astrid was thinking about the whole 'I love you' situation. She was in such a deep though that she didn't realise that she was tracing the words 'I love you' over the back of Hiccups hand. After a while of doing that Astrid sat back and began to drift off to sleep she felt Hiccup slightly move beside her. Hiccup turned around to fully face Astrid and wrapped his arms around her waist, whispering softly,

"I love you too"
