Once upon a midnight
When all were sleeping sound
In the darkest graveyard
Dark things, they crept around
Hands crawl through
The damp, black earth
Up from coffins below
And ghostly ghouls
Drag themselves out
To walk upon the snow
With body parts
All hanging loose
And eyes a vacant stare
They still know that
It's Christmas Eve
And Santa's passing there
A tree stands in the corner
With leaves too scared to grow
Instead of baubles
They hang there
Fingers, ears and toes
Beneath are all the presents
Wrapped in rags they've torn apart
Of body parts they're missing
Like an arm, a hand, a heart
They dance to haunting music
But it's just a little shiver
Cos if they jump about
Their eyes fall out
And float off down the river
And when the sun is rising
They crawl back underground
But they don't mind
Cos at Christmas time
A Zombie party's the best around!
