Christmas Night

On Christmas night

When light takes flight

And girls and boys are sleeping

A rustling, scuffling

Can be heard

As toys begin a-creeping

From under beds

And down from shelves

They crawl towards the floor

Then they start to

Change and grow

They're not toys anymore

On Christmas night

When flight is right

Your covers you hide beneath

For toys before

They are no more

And watch out for their teeth......
