Few days after.

Elena P.O.V

I pushed the door opened to see Cal and Dr Meledez stood there talking as they looked down at a file in front of them.

"Hi."I said as I looked at them weirdly and confused.

Dr Meledez looked up from the file. "Hey El."

"What is that?"I asked as I pointed at the file in his hand. "What is it?"

Cal looked up with a pleasant smile on his face. "El, we are placed on the surgeon team."

"What do you mean?"

"You and Cal here are placed on the head surgeon team."Dr Meledez corrected him with a smile plastered on his face. "I believe a congrats is in order."

I looked at him speechless, this means all my hard work all these years paid off slaving away for people and those late nights of working my ass off I finally achieved something in my life.

"Elena?"Cal asked as his freakish big hands waved themselves in front of my face.

I blinked and looked at him. "We can't of..."

He nodded. "Believe it! We did it!"

I nodded at him and we hugged then I pulled away from the hug. I looked at Dr Meledez. "Thank you."

"You are very welcome. You derseve this."Dr Meledez said with a nod.

"We should celebrate!"Cal said with so much energy in him.

"I'm still on shift."I reminded Cal with a serious look on my face.

Dr Meledez let out a sigh. "You both can take off the rest of the shift."

Me and Cal let out an happy scream and clapped our hands together in joy.

"But I want you both here bright and early in the morning." Dr Meledez added.

We both nodded then he left leaving me and Cal alone in the locker room.

Cal looked at me. "Where do you want to go and celebrate?"

"I want to go home and sleep."

"Seriously? You passed and you want to sleep?"Cal said in a shocked expression.

"It's been a really tiring week Cal..."

He looked at me. "Fine. At least let me drop you off home then?"

"I think I'll be fine taking the bus."

"Nonsense."He said with a smile then he winked. "Maybe we could stop for a drink on the way."

"I don't drink."

"Come on Yatra! You passed you are peremently on Dr Meledez surgeon team!"

"Don't want to go in this one!"I moaned as my shoes firmly stood on the ground.

Cal pulled my arm trying to make him go in with him. "I can't go alone man!"
