Chapter 10

Ari P.O.V

I looked at my face through the mirror seeing my neck too all covered in burises by Javs.

My fingers slowly traced them on my neck squinting my eyes at each time because it hurt.

I picked up my foundation out of my make up bag and started on my neck to cover up then I went on my face hiding it all.

"Hey."Javs said as he walked into the room with a towel wrapped around his torso.

His voice used to be music to my ears now it's razor sharp sounds to my ears.

"Hey."I spoke quietly as I picked up my eyeliner.

He walked over to me he placed his hands on my shoulder my head turned way from him wanting this to end but he moved his hands on my neck and forced me to look at myself in the mirror.

"Good girl, you covered them all up."He said with a grin on his face talking to me like it was one of his pupils.

I didn't say anything and just looked at myself in the mirror. How could I become this? Become this weak person? Allowed herself being beated by this guy?

He moved his hands away and took a step back. "Go and get ready we leave in fifteen."

I got up from the chair and looked at myself in the mirror then I turned around face to face with him.

"Don't wear anything revealing."He commanded."You are an English teacher remember."

I nodded at him and walked into the closet, I picked out a white blouse and black flares with black boots. Then I walked out and he wasn't there.

My phone chimed and I picked it up from the nightstand.

It was Joel who I had disguised his name to Jesse.

Jesse~ Hey do you want to meet up for lunch?

Jesse~ If you aren't do anything for lunch?

Maybe I should.

Me~ Yeah sure where?

Jesse~ Creams?

Me~ Yeah sure

I walked to the place creams, it wasn't that far from the school. I pushed the door opened of creams and saw Joel sitting in a booth and opposite him someone with black shiny hair.

That could be Erick or someone?

I walked over to the booth, Joel looked up and got up we hugged.

"It's been ages since we seen each other!"He said with a smile as he sat back down.

"I know!"

I looked at the guy and it was Chris! He looked at me and got up we hugged.

"Hey Ari."He said as he pulled away from the hug taking a good look of my face.

"Hey Chris!"

He looks so familiar though.

"Where have my manners gone?"Joel said as he got up again and signalled me to sit next to him.

I let out a chuckle and nodded, I sat next to him in the booth and Chris across us.

Chris looked down at the menu. "I don't know what to choose."

"What do you like?"

"Everything to be honest."

"He'll eat anything more like it."Joel added with a chuckle.

Chris looked at Joel and gave Him a death glare.

I couldn't help but laugh a little. I looked down at the menu in the middle of me and Joel.

"I'm thinking chicken and waffles."I said as my gaze was on the menu.

"EWWW!"Came from both boys pulling disgusted faces.

I looked up at the two. "What's wrong with that?"

"How can you have chicken and waffles?"Joel said in shock." It's disgusting and weird."

"That just disobeys the food laws."Chris said shaking his head at me.

"Food laws?"I let out a little laugh.

"Yeah haven't you heard them?"

I shook my head for no. "Oh fuck now you've got him started."Joel said shaking his head.

"I'll tell you the laws after when we order."Chris said with a wink indicating at Joel.

I let out another laugh oh these guys make me laugh so much.

The waitress came. "What can I get you guys today?"

"Could I have the grilled sandwich with fires."Joel replied.

She nodded and looked at Chris. "You?"

"I want a.."He smacked his lips together looking down at the menu.

"Ay papí  ¿Cuánto tiempo vas a tomar?" Joel said as his hand rubbed his forehead "Usted no está eligiendo las flores en su furneal."

Chris looked up at him and behind the menu he put up the middle finger. "vete a la mierda."

"Tu tambien."Joel said with a grin on his face.

I couldn't help but laugh. The waitress looked at me. "You?"

"A chicken salad please."

She nodded and jotted it down she looked at Chris who was taking forever. "Have you chosen now?"

"I want the burger and fries but the burger has to be cooked properly."He replied as he looked at her with a serious look. "No medium rare chiz it has to be proper cooked and with a coke."

She nodded. "Your order will be out in twenty." Then she left.

Chris looked at me. "Do you work near here?"

"Yeah I do. I work in the school just two streets away as an English teacher."

"Maybe you can teach Chris how read a menu."Joel joked.

Chris let out a fake laugh. "Haha not very funny Joelito."

I looked at Chris. "Have I seen you before or something? Because you seem really familiar."

He shook his head. "Same here."

"Maybe you have crossed each other paths but you just don't know."Joel said.

"Yeah."

We ate lunch we had so much fun and then I headed back to work.
