Chapter 36

Elena's P.O.V

A knock came from the door. "El?"Adeline asked behind the door. "We are going now."

I let out a sniff and inhaled Zabdiel's scent from the blanket I had wrapped around me.

"El?"

I slowly got out of his bed and took the blanket off myself then neatly folded it, I placed it on the end of the bed and walked to the door.

I opened the door and let out a sniff. "Are we going then?"

Adeline looked at me longer than a second. "El? Have you been crying?"

"Where did you get that silly idea from?"I said with a shrug as my hand rubbed my eyes.

Adeline put her hand on my wrist and pulled my hand down from my face. "Answer my question, have you been crying?"

"What is it to you anyway?"I snapped as I looked at you. "We hardly even see you these days, always with Chris never have time for us! You only are going to be with us for the next few months because you haven't got him with you, just like always you use us then come back for your own convience."

She looked at me. "What is wrong?"

"Just leave me alone."I muttered and pushed past her.

I walked into the living room to see River, Ari and Zara talking by the door.

I didn't want to go out knowing he was living across then or that he was near me or even the fact that he's out of prison.

"El?"Zara asked as she looked at me with concern.

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"Ari asked as she walked nearer to me.

"Yeah I'm."

"You don't look like it."River said as she looked at me. "What happened?"

"Can we just go then?"I managed to say as I looked at them.

Adeline appeared and looked at Zara and River. "Let's go."

"Wait, El doesn't lo-"Adeline cut Zara off.

"Ari can deal with her."Adeline said in a annoyed tone. "Let's get the car out."

Zara looked at Ari and she nodded at Zara and River.

Adeline chucked the keys at Ari and she caught them. "Make sure you lock up"

"We will be waiting outside in the car for you."River added.

The door opened and I clenched onto Ari's hand my hands shaking my lips trembled as all three of them walked through that door and they left.

Hearing the door closed I let out a sigh of relief.

Ari sat me down on the couch and looked at me. "What's wrong el?"

"H-He's there."I stuttered as my hands shook.

"I'm going to get you some water first."Ari said with a nod then went to get water.

She walked back to me and handed me the glass of water.

I took a sip of the water and I placed the glass on my lap my hands curled around the cup.

"El, tell me what's wrong?"

"I saw him, he was there just across."I explained as I looked at her my bottom lip quivered. "He turned around and I saw him, I saw his face."

"Who's face?"

I looked at her. "He's here. He's out."

She looked at me and pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry El."

I pulled away from the hug."Please don't tell the others"

"I won't."Ari said with a sigh. "Im here for you okay."

My phone started to ring, I picked it up from my nightstand to see Zabdiel face timing me.

I quickly sat up on my bed and clicked answer.

"Hey love!"Zabdiel said with a smile on his face.

"Hey!"

He looked at me. "Were you sleeping or something?"

"No. I was just sitting in bed."

"Oh okay, how are you? You are okay aren't you?"

"I'm fine. What about you? The guys?"

"We are all good."He replied with a smile on his face. "I'm sharing a room with Erick and Chris."

"Ouch."

"I know."

Erick jumped on Zabdiel's back and waved his hand on the camera. "HEY ELENA!"He yelled with joy taking a bite out of his pizza.

"Hey Erick!"

"Man, I wish you all could be here you know."Erick said with a sigh.

"Same here."

Erick took the phone off Zabdiel and looked at me. "What are you doing then?"He asked as he took another bite of his pizza.

"Nothing, chilling in my room."I replied with a shrug. "How's that pizza?"

"Delicious!"Erick yelled on the top of his lungs.

"So delicious that he isn't letting me have any."Zabdiel added with a chuckle off the camera.

"Shut up Zabdi! I want to talk to Elena!"

"Well last time I checked, I called her from my phone you didn't now let me talk to her."

Erick rolled his eyes and looked at me. "I'll call you tonight okay!"

"Okay!"

He gave the phone back to Zabdiel with a dirty look.

Me and Zabdiel talked for a few hours then he hung up because he had to sleep.

I walked into the living room and watched movies all by myself until I fell asleep.
