Saxen
When I woke up my left eye was still sore and all my limbs were aching even though I tried icing everything after I got home from the park. I turned and picked up my phone and looked at the bright screen. 103 unread messages and 47 missed calls, I checked the date in the corner of my phone, February 6. I haven't gone to school in a week, not that it mattered since I never payed attention anyways. I groaned as I tried to sit up, it still hurt but was manageable. It was Sunday so I didn't have to go anywhere unless I wanted to . Maybe I should just go back to sleep, it was already 2:00 so I might as well.
Just as I was getting comfortable I heard vibrating coming from my nightstand. I turned and opened a text message, it was from Al.
Al: Hey girl, get your lazy ass up and get dressed. You're gunna be hanging with me today and we're gonna find you a nice piece of ass ;)
I couldn't help but smile at the last part. Maybe I should go hang out with her I mean not that I wanted 'a nice piece of ass' but because I barely hang out with her anymore. I quickly scan my fingers over the touch screen and reply that I'll drop by her house in 30. I get up to take a quick shower and threw on some black slim fit jeans and my blazer with a hood. I made my way downstairs and the door heading to her house. I't wasn't that far and in fact, she lived in the same neighborhood as Jamie.
I walked past the blue house that held the girl that has been invading my thoughts since I first met her. I couldn't help slow down my pace and stare at the window on the second story. The lights were off, maybe she was still sleeping? Doesn't matter, I started walking at a normal pace again and not long after I came across the familiar light brown house that was two stories tall. I pulled out my phone and dialed Al's number.
"Hello?"
"Hey, get your ass down here and open up the door."
"Ugh, that's way too much work." I could just imagine the smile breaking out across her face.
"Fine, be that way." I hung up the phone and went to the side of the house where her window was.
I started to climb the tree to get to her window. It was pretty easy since I was in good shape. The dumbass left the window open, she probably wanted me to climb the tree from the start. I jumped from the branch that was nearest to her window and landed on the windowsill but had to grab on to the side. Nobody was in the room but the door was open so I just walked over to her bed and laid down with my arms behind my head. She'll be back so I don't have to worry about it. Not long after I got comfortable I heard footsteps coming towards the room and before I knew it I felt weight on top of me. I opened my eyes expecting to see Al's dirty blonde hair except I saw a familiar brunette.
"Jamie?"
"I missed you." her head was in the crook of my neck so it sounded muffled but I could still understand her.
"I was only gone for about a week."
"Yeah but that's 7 days that I haven't seen you."
I felt a huge smile spread across my face when she said that.
"Well I see you guys found your entertainment for the day." I turned towards the door and saw Al leaning against the frame.
I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks when I realized the position we were in. She had one leg in between mine and was straddling one of my legs. I could tell she was embarrassed to because once she she saw how she was sitting on me she jumped back and off of the bed.
"My turn bitches!"
Before I knew it Al had jumped on me and had me in a bone crushing hug. Once she was done trying to kill me she stood up and I sat up. Out of nowhere she punched me in my left arm.
