More Clues

   "Rowan I-"
"Oh there you are sweet cheeks! I've been looking all over school for you."
She got cut off by none other than Malik.
"Perfect." I mumbled under my breath
"Oh hey you didn't have to come looking for me, I was just talking to Rowan."
"No I would prefer for you to be next to me at all times especially if you're my girlfriend now." he said
"GIRLFRIEND!!!" Messiah and I said at the same time
"Yup your all mine now so no one else can steal you from me." He said that last part looking directly at me. He turned back to Messiah and gave her a long kiss on the lips. I turned around and tried to hide my sadness.

   As I was heading towards the front door Reed caught up with me.
"What's wrong? Why are you heading towards the main entrance?"
"Well I'll tell you 2 things. First she knows now. Second she's going out with Malik." I reply
"Ouch." Is all he says

I continue to make my way towards the entrance. Surprisingly Reed is following behind me.
"You don't have to walk me out you know."
"Oh I know I'm going with you."
"You don't need to I'll be fine I just need to release some anger."
"With all the hidden strength you possess someone needs to watch you."
"Ughh fine come on but you're buying food."
"Of course there always has to be food."
We went to Wendy's and I ordered the baconator and a vanilla milkshake. He got the same as I did which didn't surprise me all that much.

   We went deep into the woods and ate. We ran around and played games like we were kids again. I told him what happened with Messiah and he told me that should have calmed down before I said some of the things I said.

   After the talk I heard someone call my name.
"Did you hear that?" I asked Reed
"Hear what?"
"Rowan...."
There it was again
"That!"
"Are you okay? Did you hit your head on something? Do I need to call someone?" He said jokingly
"Oh shut up! Follow me, and be quiet."
"Sir yes sir."
He said saluting me
I rolled my eyes and walked further into the forest. The voice got louder and louder. Soon we were at an underground cave of some sort. We walked in and there was a lady sitting at a desk.

   "Hi I'm Ariel and I've been waiting for you." She said without turning around.
For some reason I felt at peace. I sat down and looked back at Reed who seemed to be sceptical about the whole situation.
"Reed sit your butt in a chair already." She said
He sat down without a word. She finally turned around. She looked like one of those sweet ladies you see on TV. She had brown hair, soft features, and slight wrinkles.
"I see you found the first clue. So here is the second."

   She handed me a piece of paper. Instead of talking like the last one the words on the paper started to illuminate in a rainbow color. Soon the words started come off the page and fly around me. I began to read the words aloud.
"Change is good and you embrace it, say these words and you shall face it."

   The room started to crumble around me. I was surrounded in darkness. Suddenly I was infront of 6 doors I looked at the paper and the words 'Enter that which speaks to you and your truth lies on the other side.' appeared around me.

   I looked at all the doors. One of them  had hands on them with astrological designs all over it. Another looked sweet like nothing in this world could be sweeter. There was one with a clock and another with herbs and potions.

   But the one that caught my eyes the most was the one with animals. On that door there was a full moon stars and a forest. Inside the forest there were all types of animals. Wolves, leopards, lions, cheetahs, and so many more.

   I walked through that door and you will never believe what was on the other side. There I saw Reed and... Messiah?
"What do you remember?" I ask Reed
"You reading then my eyes, it happened again." He replied
"What the fuck is going on?" Screamed Messiah
"How did she get here?" I ask
He shrugged his shoulders and looked at her. She stood there waiting for answers. I looked down at the paper and it said
'Your journey begins with both of your friends one is your mate the other your beta.'
"Mate? What's that?" I ask Reed
"I read about this a mate is a soulmate or something of the sort. Each shifter has a mate but if rejected then they either die or some say they go through a detachment period where they both go through a longing period wanting and needing each other but knowing deep inside that that is not what one of them wants adding more pain. They also might never find a mate again."
"Ouch" I said holding my chest
"WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!!!" Messiah screams.
"Oh yeah she's here too." Reed says looking at me.
