I walked out of the house and met up with Messiah and Reed. We ran through the woods and played little games while doing so.
"Tag your it!" Messiah yells running ahead of us.
"God I love this girl." I mumble
I run up to to Reed and tag him I start running faster when I see him shift into his dragon. We learned that just because it is your battle animal doesn't mean its only meant for battle. Seeing him shift Messiah shifts into her beautiful panther and runs faster using the trees to hide herself.I decided to shift into a black tiger. I jumped in the air and thought of the animal in my mind when I landed I felt paws hit the ground I was huge. I started to run faster. Reed started creating ice crystals and shooting them out his mouth. Messiah created a wall of fire to melt the crystals. I kept running faster and faster I leaped into the air and shifted into a giant winged eagle about the same size as Reed since eagles are generally small so I was big for my size.
The only thing different is that when I imagined myself as the eagle I imagined that I had water balloon cannons on each shoulder. I shot Messiah as soon as i saw her wall of fire go down. I saw her freeze in shock causing her to tumble and roll on the ground she quickly regained herself and started to throw fire balls at us.
We continued playing like this till we got to a sign.
"Shifter central the home of the shifters" Messiah read out loud
I looked at the town behind the sign it was only about 5 miles away so I could see it perfectly. We all were back in our human forms by now.
"I guess it's back to business then." Reed said sadly
"I guess so." Messiah repliedWe ran in our human forms until we got there. Upon our arrival we were able to see that nothing in this town seemed like it would belong to the shifters. Everything was dull and not at all beautiful like when we first got here. The look of this place brought anger into my body. I wanted to rip the skull out of who ever did this to the realm. I looked around and saw shifters everywhere they looked like they lost joy and all hope for survival.
The authority figures looked angry and unkind. I looked around and saw a giant castle. The castle was a dark green. It created a gloomy look over the city. Instead of being incorporated into the city it was the only decent looking thing while the rest of the town looked like shacks. I turned my head to see a guard smack a little girl across the face.
Before I knew what I was doing I had him by his throat lifted up off the ground. I tossed him to the ground and made him apologize to the little girl. He did and ran off into the castle. The girl ran to her parents and they thanked me. When I looked into their eyes I saw something for the first time in this town. Hope.
"What do you want Jefferson?" I hear a man say in a rude tone
"Sir she's here." The man I assume to be Jefferson said in a scared tone
"Are you sure?" The man sounds angry now
"Yes sir I saw her, I saw her eyes."
"Why am I just now notified? Where is she?" He screams voice booming
"I-I ran as fast as I could I-I didn't see where she went."
"Good, you did good Jefferson." I heard his shoes tap on the floor before he spoke again.
"Kill him."
