"Nooo sir please I'll do better please don't." Jefferson begged
"What would I look like if the town's people hear about this? They will start to hope and what is our motto about hope?"
"Hope kills, hope destroys, only way to live... is if hope dies." Jefferson says sadly.
"Exactly now you're getting it."
I hear Jefferson scream and something hit the floor.
"Clean him up before he starts to smell." The man says.

   I was broken out of my snooping when I heard Messiah call my name.
"Ro come on, we need to find a place to stay."
She walked up to me and grabbed my hand making me follow her. When we got to where Reed was she let me go. I wasn't even sure what they were saying I was too zoned out. I could only think about what I heard.

   That had to be my brother he sounded like he was the one in charge. He was so cruel. The thought of him made my blood boil. Once again I was broken out of my thoughts by Messiah. She touched my arm to get my attention.
"Are you okay, you seem to be a little out of it?"
"Yeah I'm fine." I said putting a smile on my face not wanting her to worry about me.
"Well anyway we got the only room left at that inn over there..." She said pointing.
"Only thing is there are only 2 beds." She said nervously.
"Oh."
"Yeah."

   We stood there I in silence for a minute or two.
"Umm I'll sleep on the floor I guess?"
"No! Umm i mean we could share the other bed. I know Reed is kinda a wild sleeper." She said hurriedly
"Okay." I said kinda relieved
Reed walked over to us telling us that we could begin to put our stuff in the room.

   We put our bags, clothes, and other stuff that Elisha gave us into the room. Reed said that he was going to get some food while Messiah and I look around the room for silverware and plates.
"I found them!" Shouts Messiah from the kitchen area after about a good 45 minutes.
"Great, so I can stop looking for it now hallelujah!" I shouted with glee.

   I walked over to the bed I was sleeping on and fell onto it.
"Umm no ma'am you can get your butt up I found them so I'm the one who gets to lay down." She said trying to push me off the bed.
"Oh so you want to lay down then lay down but I'm not moving."
"Get up bruh!"
"Lay down, dang, you yelling is messing up my sleeping." I say with my eyes closed.
"Oh I'm waking you up am I?" She says screaming playfully.
I grab her arm and pull her down on the bed flipping us over so I was on top of her. I finally open my eyes to see her looking up at me. Her eyes were starting to glow. We stayed like that for awhile.

   Me on top of her, just looking at each other.
"Oh my gawd! Kiss already! Jezzuz." Reed says and walks out the door again after setting the food down. I climb off of her and go to get the food not saying a word. I walk to the kitchen and begin preparing the food. Messiah comes in to help me out. After awhile we begin playing around.

   When our miniature food fight was done she had a little bit of food on her lip.
"You got some umm food on your lip."
I pointed to the spot. She tried to get it but kept missing it.
"Just let me get it."
I bent down and kissed her softly. I pulled back and began to cook again.
"Got it." I said.
She looked at me smiling.
