Deep Within

Journey

"Reed can you explain to her?"
"Everything?" He asks
"Everything." I reply nodding my head
He pulls her to the side and begins to explain to her everything that has been going on and what I am or could be. As they are talking I start to notice the scenery.

There are giant trees all so beautiful on the trees are fireflies decorating them. The grass is full and a luscious green color. The sky is like a dark blue and purple color with pink streaks. There more stars then thought to be possible. I've never seen so many. The sky reminded me of a galaxy. I looked out towards the horizon line and saw beautiful mountains.

   This place made me feel at peace, I felt like I was finally home. I felt a presence behind me breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I heard a soft voice ask.
I turn around to see Messiah looking up at me. Her features soft she looks away from my gaze almost as if she was nervous.
"Thought you would leave. That you would call me a freak and never talk to me again."
"Wha- why would you think that?"
"I don't know I am nervous when it comes to you I am scared of what you might think of me."
I looked way from her.
"I'm sorry about earlier."
"No I'm sorry I didn't know you felt that way I see why you were upset."

   "Ladies"
We both looked at Reed.
"There's a path."
"I mean we got to start somewhere." I replied
We all started down the path. I walked in the middle. Messiah kept commenting on the scenery around us.
"The stars look beautiful tonight!"
Seeing her face light up as she talked about the stars brought a smile to my face.  We continued down the path for what seemed like hours.
"So what were doing when you got sent here?"

   She mumbled something that I couldn't make out.
"What was that I couldn't hear you?"
"I was breaking up with Malik."
"Oh."
"Yeah he was getting a little clingy and he didn't even ask me out he just said I was his. He's not even romantic he said we were going on a date and took me to park I know cute right, NOPE we went to the park so he could PRACTICE A SPORT. Then he had the nerve to let his buddies talk him into getting another girls number can you believe the disrespect!"

"You mad bro?" Reed said
"You good bro?" I said
We both bust out laughing while Messiah stormed off
"We love you!!!!" We both said at the same time.
She walked away faster and we kept laughing
"Wait no one back."
"Messiah!!"
"Don't be like that!" We said while laughing.

   We continued on it journey cracking jokes at each other fr the fun of it.
