*check out the song. I think I captures Ryoma' s character well*

It's been a long time since I have stopped believing that God exists. I guess that was why he locked out angels like me. We don't put faith in what we cannot see.

My family used to believe that demons were hiding their humanity, but I knew they could care less who they hurt.

My family paid the price for my weak resolve to speak up when I knew those monsters would slaughter every last one of us.

However, I saved my baby brother and myself that night.

But now, they've taken him from me too.

I've been searching for the one responsible for killing Ryu.

No damn luck to be had.

I could walk a thousand miles and still hate myself for not being there for him when he needed me most.

My world had torn in two, there was no grey area. It was black and white, evil and good.

I may sound genocidal for saying this, but I despise demons and one day I will eradicate them from the land.

Misery was brought to the world and I couldn't let it wither away because they take greedily from those around them.

I don't miss Illuminara one bit either.

Though I'm renowned as the Holy Dark Knight, I was never accepted fully as a member in court.

I am a fallen angel and we are no different from the demons, but that was something I disagree with. Fallen angels are still more kind than demons.

I wander the human world that once belonged to humans, but is now ruled by demons.

They took over the land and enslaved human kind.

Lucky for the humans, I'm not going to free them but also use them as another reason to get demons to notice who've they angered.

A small town ahead of me gave off a heavy demonic aura. I landed on the dirt ridden path.

Concealing my wings, I wandered into the place as most of the humans seemed frightened by the sight of what was in the square.

A demon' s work no doubt.

I saw a man tied to a post. He was beaten badly, but as I drew closer, I noticed that both his eyes were gouged out.

People soon took notice of me as I walked over to the man. He smelt rancid.

I untied his arms and caught him. He fell forward. "Its alright. Rest,"

The man smiled weakly. "Thank you, brave young man, thank you," he was happy someone had spared him more humiliation.

"Why did they do this?" I asked him and he coughed.

The man was in need of medical attention.

People had gathered to watch this man die.

How pathetic.

"You're not from around here are you?" A voice playfully laughing.

I locked eyes with a few of the townsfolk. "He needs medicine now," I cried and two men helped the old man out of my arms. I searched for the demon.

"You went and ruined the fun, but meddling is a serious offense."

This demon stood where he tied the man to the post. His brilliant red eyes and violet hair gave him away easily.

"I thought for a second that you aren't the type to go helping people, but I guess I was wrong," the demon narrowed his gaze on me. "But since I cannot let you go unpunished, you might want to surrender now,"

I smirked. "Punish me, I think you're the one that's in need of punishment, demon scum." I retorted to his ineffective intimidation of fear.

The people were afraid for me, but many shielded their eyes from me.

The demon angered by my lack of respect for his power stormed over to me. "You are going to stop me, you puny little urchin," his eyes sharply frustrated by me.

"What did you think would happen that I'd play nice," I glared and in his eyes they cringed. "You monsters are just greedy and pompous if you think I'm afraid of you. You've taken everything from me, so you have no loose ends pull. I'm still here, and I'll make sure your kind go extinct."

The demon didn't appear to be intimidated by me.

"Who do you think your-" he said as I punched him across his chin. I followed with a strike from my leg as he smacked into the post.

As he tried to put up a fight, I pulled my dagger out of the sheath. The obsidian blade glimmered as I pierced it into the demon' s shoulder. I twisted it hard to the right.

The demon cried out, but no one here will stop me.

"The question you should've asked was who are you?" I tore the dagger out and held it under his throat. "You're going to tell me where I can find Claudis and I'll kill you quickly or I'll make this a slow death,"

The demon had a lopsided grin as his eyes gleamed  with hope. "You would not happen to know, he is looking for a rogue nephilim who has been causing quite the ruckus, but I cannot say where that took him,"

Irritated, I pressed the sharpness of my dagger on his throat. "Where is he?!" I yelled losing my cool composure.

The demon took a hold of my right wrist and squeezed it. My dagger fell from my grip. He smacked me into the post as my head spun.

"Look at you, you let down your guard, poor little soul. I will not let you mock me,"

I felt achy, but it was fuel to the fire. This demon was not a pushover and he'll take advantage of my anger.

"Don't mistake me for a human," I replied coldly as his eyes went wide. I grabbed my dagger plunging it into the left chest of the demon and it glowed consuming the demon.

"You are," the demon was gone and turned to ashes as the people around me were stunned.

I stood up and sighed. "Another dead end, guess it won't be easy to find out where that monster is hiding."

I headed out of town with no glory or cheer. The demon I wanted to find was the one who failed to protect Ryu. He never cared about his well being as I did.

Demons were all the same, monsters who slaughter for the hell of it.
