"Come on we are going to be late, Sherlock!" John yelled from the other side of the flat. Every time they have to go on a plane, John is always wanting to get there early ever since he was in 5th grade and pulled a home alone: he was late to get to the plane and it left with his family but not him. Sherlock on the other hand, hates planes. He claims that people aren't made to fly so why do we even try. The only reason he sticks to the saying is because it rhymes.

"We still have a half an hour until we even have to leave!" Sherlock yelled from the bedroom. John made him pack the night before so there wasn't much more to do. He never wanted to leave for something earlier than you have to. It's a waste of time.

"No, Sherlock! We are leaving now!" John came into the bedroom just to see Sherlock lying on the bed on his phone. He walked over and took Sherlock's hand but when he pushed away, John pursued. Once he got a hand on Sherlock again, he cleverly broke one of his fingers and Sherlock shot back in pain.

"Ouch! What the hell was that for?" Sherlock was rolling around on the bed in pain.

"Come on, now." John walked out of the room, "I'll fix it in the cab ride to the airport." He grabbed their bags and headed to the street to hail a cab. Sherlock came down a few moments later, mumbling.

"You didn't have to go and break my bloody finger." Sherlock complained. John ignored his whining during the whole ride to the airport.

Unfortunately for John's argument, the security line was very short and there bags had been checked all within 10 minutes. Sherlock couldn't stop rubbing it in John's face, he didn't even care that they now have to wait for 40 minutes until they board.

"I told you so." Sherlock kept repeating. John tried his best to ignore him and pulled out his laptop. He began to work on their latest case while Sherlock fidgeted in his seat. He watched John for a few minutes then got bored. He looked around and stared at people for a while.

"Stop staring." John didn't look up from his computer.

"I'm not staring." Sherlock quickly defended himself.

"Stop reading people. It's creepy and annoying." John complained. Sherlock just shrugged it off and carried on. About half an hour later, the loudspeaker came on and a man's voice announced:

"Ladies and gentlemen if I could have your attention for a quick moment," He paused, "Flight 403 to Dublin has been delayed another two hours due to weather. We apologize for the inconvenience." During the whole announcement, Sherlock glared at John.

"Well how was I supposed to know the bloody flight was going to be delayed?" John almost yelled. Everyone in the terminal turned to their direction, "It's not my fault." He lowered his voice.

"If we didn't have to come like a day earlier than the flight then it wouldn't be so bad." Sherlock overexaggerated.

"We only came half an hour early!" John defended himself. "Just go into your mind palace for a few hours." He went back to his work.

"All these people are distracting." Sherlock pouted.

"There's not even that many people here and they are barely talking." John sighed.

"Yeah, but they're thinking. It's annoying." He crossed his arms against his chest. John sighed once again and took his wallet out of his pocket.

"Here," He gave Sherlock 5 pounds, "Go buy yourself a coffee or something. Walk around. Just stop bloody complaining!" He went back to his laptop and Sherlock hesitated before going to the nearest cafe. He walked around the whole airport for hours, observing. He heard his flight being called from the other side of the airport. Sherlock began sprinting down the long hallways, pushing people out of the way trying to get to the terminal. John was one of the last people in line and Sherlock arrived panting.

"You complain the whole time about having to wait for hours yet you're still late to board." John sighed and handed him his ticket. "Unbelievable."
