There is a baby laying in a basket on the doorstep to a building. This baby is just crying and screaming as babies do, when the door opens and a woman pokes her head out and looks around until she sees a baby at her feet that has a note next to him. The woman picks up the note and the child in hopes to make him stop crying, which is failing. She opens the note and it reads.
"This is my son, his name is (Y/n). I leave him here because I simply don't want him. My hope is that this way he can find a happy family that will care."
The woman sighs as she looks back at the crying child, who has not even slowed in his crying. She feels a certain level of disgust for the person who would leave their infant behind especially those who are barely even six months old. The woman then says.
???:"Well, welcome to the orphanage (Y/n)."
-3 years later-
There is a little boy with (h/c) and bright colorful (e/c) eyes, playing with some toys in the corner of this playroom. It's as if he'd just much rather not be around the other kids. When he hears a girl ask him.
???:"H..h..hey um can I um play with one of your toys?"
The boy then turns to see a girl with brunette hair and bright green eyes. He has also realized that she looks nervous so, he just says with a smile.
???:"Sure."
He then hands her one of the toys he had been playing with. They were both enjoying themselves at this point when she asked.
???:"Hey, what's your name?"
The boy just looks at her and says.
(Y/n):"My name is (y/n). What's yours?"
The girl is smiling as she responds with.
Valery:"My name is Valery. I like you (y/n), you want to be friends?"
(Y/n) looks ecstatic at the thought of making a friend and a really nice and cool one at that. So he says very excitedly.
(Y/n):"That would be awesome!"
This causes Valery to giggle at her new friend's enthusiasm. They quickly continued to play together for the rest of the day. Over the course of the next few months (y/n) has succeeded in making two more friends. One was a boy who was a fair bit bigger than (y/n) with dark brown hair with green eyes but, unlike the only other kid (y/n) had met that was as big as him, he was nice. His name was Andrew. The other was a boy that was about the same size as (y/n) with black hair and blue eyes. His name was Michael. The group of four became really close friends as they all shared in the fact that they were all really shy. He actually felt happy with his friends.
-1 year later-
Not long after he turned five, (y/n) had to watch slowly as his only friends became adopted and left him. He felt conflicted, on one hand he was happy that these friends of his were getting to have a family because, he believed they deserved one. On the other hand however, he felt overwhelming sadness at the thought that they wouldn't be around anymore it made him think about how he had been left here by his parents and it hurt him so much. He felt unloved before but, now he feels alone too. First to be adopted was Valery, the next was Andrew, and the last was Michael. What hurt (y/n) even more was that they all told him before they left.
Andrew, Michael, and Valery:"I hope we can see each other again someday. Goodbye (y/n)."
They all followed this statement up with a hug. This almost always resulted in (y/n) breaking into tears, these were the only people to like and or care about him so to watch them leave him forever tore him apart. It also didn't help that no matter how many couples came through and looked at him, he was never adopted as none of the couples liked him at all. (Y/n) soon also became bullied by some of the bigger kids and he dealt with this all alone. The first few times this happened, he went to the lady that was head of the orphanage, who always said.
Head of the orphanage:"Why would you say such a thing? They would never harm another kid."
She would then punish (y/n) for telling a lie. Because of this he realized he was completely alone and without someone who even remotely cared about him.
-another year later-
(Y/n) was playing by himself in the corner as he usually did. Though (y/n) doesn't look well as his skin looks very pale, his eyes looked sullen with bags, and he had a black eye and bruises on his face and arms. He really didn't sleep well as he just would dream about sleeping in a home with a family only to wake up a few minutes later alone which would lead him to crying his eyes out until, he passed out due to exhaustion. All of a sudden (y/n) sees a kids feet in his peripheral vision which causes him to turn and look at one of the kids that constantly bullied him, who says to (y/n).
???:"I want your toys."
(Y/n) just handed them to him and said.
(Y/n):"Take them."
The bigger kid looks a little confused as he asks.
???:"Your not even gonna fight back?"
(Y/n) just shrugs as he says.
(Y/n):"It doesn't matter if I do or not because I'll still get beat up no matter what so, here."
Fortunately for (y/n) the bully left him alone as it seems (y/n) had ruined part of the fun for him. After a few days (y/n) had decided he's had enough of this. He figures no one cares about him anyways so he might as well live on the street, at least that way he could die and it would be over. So he runs away from the orphanage and he continues to run for awhile before stopping at a alleyway. He just sits down in this alleyway with his knees pulled to his chest as he begins to cry again thinking about his situation. He can't help it he just feels so helpless and alone. Then all of a sudden he hears a woman with a soft voice ask.
???:"Hey are you ok? What's wrong?"
He looks up with tears still streaming down his face to see a woman wearing a white cloak, with black hair with red tips, and silver eyes.
