Orphan's Path (Destiny Hunter RWBY Male insert)

(Y/n) and Pyrrha continued walking until they stumble onto a pretty sizable cave, which prompts (y/n) to ask.
(Y/n):"Is this the place?"
Pyrrha looks at (y/n) just as confused as him before saying.
Pyrrha:"I have no idea."
(Y/n):"Well I guess there's only one way to find out right?"
The two head into the cave and immediately realizes its way to dark to see anything which causes Pyrrha to say.
Pyrrha:"I can't see anything in here."
(Y/n) then notices notices something that's glowing red which confuses him and Pyrrha for a second until (y/n) looks to his motion sensor which is pointing toward the red and now yellow glowing lights. This causes (y/n) to grab Pyrrha's arm and pull her to him at first Pyrrha is confused until she falls into (y/n) as a death stalker's tail blows passed her crashing through the wall of the cave. (Y/n) looks at Pyrrha and says.
(Y/n):"Run!"
The two take off in a full sprint as to get away from the death stalker. They soon make it to a clearing, as they do (Y/n) turns to see that the death stalker had stopped to let out a screech. Though because his head was turned he runs into someone, which causes him to fall on the ground to look up and see he ran into Yang before he looks around to see a bunch of other people and the artifacts behind her. He watches as Ruby begins to fight the the death stalker though why this is happening a nevermore flies over spraying the battlefield with feathers one of which pinned Ruby's cloak to the ground. This allows the death stalker to swing its tail at Ruby which prompts (y/n) and Yang to run towards her until Yang trips and falls. (Y/n) finds himself in a predicament as time seems to slow as the nevermore begins to fly over head shooting feathers at Yang. (Y/n) has to make a difficult choice save Yang or Ruby. Thankfully, he doesn't have to make that choice as he sees a girl with white hair headed to Ruby so, (y/n) just takes a breath and summons his bow and fires his void arrow at the nevermore. The arrow flies past the feathers before what looks like purple strands break from the arrow and grabs the feathers that would've hit Yang causing them to follow the path of the arrow. Once the arrow finally reaches its destination it buries itself into the nevermore' wing before all the feathers it had tethered also find their home in the nevermore as well causing it to screech in pain and retreat at least for the time being. He just says to his sister as he extends his hand to her.
(Y/n):"Well it seems like the roles have reversed themselves for once."
Yang takes his hand before saying.
Yang:"Shut up, (y/n)."
(Y/n) helps Yang to her feet before turning his attention to where Ruby was to see the death stalker frozen in place thanks to the girl with white hair. (Y/n) then turns his attention back to the place where the artifacts were before Pyrrha asks with a look of awe on her face.
Pyrrha:"(Y/n) was that your semblance?"
This causes (y/n) to become a bit nervous as a red hue crept across his face luckily no one could see it thanks to his helmet. (Y/n) is especially glad Yang couldn't see it because if she did she would have made it worse somehow, she seems to have a knack for embarrassing her brother without saying anything harmful to his reputation. (Y/n) says with a slight stutter.
(Y/n):"Yeah um that's uh part of it."
Pyrrha:"Well that's pretty cool (y/n)."
His blush grows ever so slightly.
(Y/n):"Um th..thanks Pyrrha."
Pyrrha then walks past him to gather an artifact Yang unfortunately for (y/n) was able to tell (y/n) was nervous around Pyrrha so she makes a heart with her hand before mouthing the words "So Cute!" This causes (y/n)'s blush to grow so much that he feels like everyone could see it through his helmet, even though that would be impossible. (Y/n) just stands there for a bit trying to calm himself from his sisters actions before Pyrrha taps his shoulder snapping him from his thoughts as she says.
Pyrrha:"I've got us an artifact let's head back to the cliff before that nevermore comes back."
(Y/n):"O..okay lets go."
Everyone then begins to head back to the cliff to finish off this initiation. They all begin to make their way across this bridge that is until it gets broken by the nevermore separating (y/n) and his sisters causing (y/n) to start falling into the chasm below. Thankfully, Pyrrha grabs the back of his cloak and pulls him back up on that part of the bridge. This leaves (Y/n), Pyrrha, Nora, and the guy with black hair and a singular pink streak from earlier on one side and Ruby, Yang, the girl with white hair who protected Ruby, and a girl with black hair on the other side. Not long after they were separated the death stalker emerged from the woods in front of them thus, everyone on that side rushed the death stalker except for (y/n). He is watching and observing how it's fighting trying to come up with a plan because it's very apparent that blunt force isn't going to work. He has figured out that this thing is very reliant on its eyes for perceiving it's like that's its only sense. (Y/n) finally has an idea as he shouts to the three attacking it.
(Y/n):"Hey! Group up on me."
They all withdraw from the death stalker to take up formation on (y/n) before he tells them.
(Y/n):"I know how to make this easy."
Pyrrha:"How?"
(Y/n):"It is relying purely on its sight meaning it can't hear or smell us."
Nora:"So?"
(Y/n) takes two smoke grenades and pulls the pin causing the smoke to seep out around them  obscuring their position to the death stalker before saying.
(Y/n):"So we stick to the smoke attacking it one by one now that it can't see."
(Y/n) then throws two more from the smoke that land underneath the death stalker. Everyone keeps briefly attacking the death stalker until (y/n) finishes it off with a shot from his Icebreaker as the smoke fades the death stalker disintegrates thanks to the Icebreaker's incendiary round. (Y/n) is just sitting there as Pyrrha says.
Pyrrha:"(Y/n) that was brilliant! How did you figure that out?"
(Y/n) just kinda shrugs before saying.
(Y/n):"Easy. I just noticed every time it went for an attack or blocked it used one of its multiple eyes, it never made an action without using them. I just kinda assumed the rest."
Pyrrha has noticed he didn't stutter nor did he seem as nervous talking about his strategy. The guy with black hair then states.
???:"Regardless that was a very intelligent observation."
(Y/n)'s lack of nervousness is short lived though as he says in response.
(Y/n):"Um thanks it uh it was nothing."
Nora doesn't help this as she says excitedly.
Nora:"You must be a certified genius!"
He just nervously laughs this off before turning his attention to where his sisters were to see Ruby sever the head of the nevermore which leaves a smile on his face.
-timeskip to team allocation-
(Y/n) at this point has changed into his regular clothing as he watches his sisters be called to the stage to form team RWBY. He seems at ease until Ozpin calls him to the stage. (Y/n) takes a deep breath before making his way up to the stage and felt very nervous as his breathing was short as he was the only one up there. Until he calls upon Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren (in that order). Ozpin then says.
Ozpin:"This is team LNNR (pronounced Lunar) and there leader will be (Y/n) Xiao Long."
The decision to make (y/n) the team leader shocks him where as the others seem unfazed by this. (Y/n) along with the rest of his team went to the dorms to find the one they were staying in. After finding their dorm they just laid their bags down and went to bed.
