Diane's POV

All seemed quiet in the castle as I sat within the heavy coverage of the trees that lined the decent sized valley just a little below me... it was to quiet. I knew when I headed in this direction that RK would be expecting me. He was, after all, the only nightmare from my past that I had left. I sat here, contemplating how I was going to go about entering the one place I doubted that I would ever get out of... the place that I knew with an almost certainty, would end up being my final resting place. My wolf growled within my head at the very thought, reminding me of the mate that I could always turn back to and have help us get rid of this pest... but that would mean he would have to accept all of who I am, and I didn't know if he would be able to accept all of the hard truths about me.

I had learned to live with how broken I was... could my mate?

Taking a silent breathe, I began to move quickly toward the castle that was sure to hold some form of doom for me and I sent up a whisper of a prayer to the Moon Goddess above, as well as my mother who was with her, praying that I would be able to face whatever was within these walls. As I clung to the shadows of the hallways, each one still etched within my memory from a time long ago when I was younger... I searched for the ones that I would have to face. It wasn't hard to find them. After all, RK was always fond of getting "serviced" while he sat upon the chair he called his "Throne"... and since I knew that they where expecting me to come, I didn't bother trying to remain hidden for long. After passing by their entire security of rogue wolves that were every where but within the "Throne Room", I shut the door silently behind myself and then stood by the door, disgust building upon my face at what I saw before me.

RK and his Witchy lover, were so enraptured with themselves, that they didn't even notice me as I walked without making so much  as a single sound. I was now within ten feet of the only people left from my past who could hurt me, and they were to busy mating with each other to even notice that I was here... it irritated me to no end. Watching him with someone after everything that witch put my mother through... after everything he put my mother through.

"If this is a bad time, I'm sure we can settle our personal affairs at a later time." I slowly drawled out as I took on a lazy stance as they stiffened at my voice but didn't turn to look at me quite yet, "I mean, what's one witchy whore got against my mother anyway? Your mate..."

"Do not speak of that wretched female!" Shrieked the Witch as she jumped off of my father, making him pout slightly as he was still at full mast while sitting up his stone chair with a glazed over look within his eyes, all the while she tried to claw at me with her magic, "His mate was never good enough for him, and she had no right to take what was mine!"

I back handed the Witch so hard that she fell to the floor several feet away from me, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth as she looked back at me in shock and then fear as I grabbed her by the hair and brought her nose just inches away from my own.

"Do you think I'm as stupid as him? Your magic can't blind me, can't make me see or feel what you want me to... I do not bend to your will or that of any other but the Moon Goddess's." I snarl at her in a low, dark tone that had her shivering in fear, "I know all that happened that night, so long ago... I know your secret, that if he ever truely found out, you'd be running not just from me. But from him as well."

"Get. off. of. my. mate. NOW!" RK's voice boomed as the glazed look left his eyes as he stood, trying to tower over me... trying to get me to fear him.

"I care not for whatever trash you decide to have around now... but I will never accept the fact that you let this whore use her magic to blind you so much that you would disgrace your true mate in this manner." I snap at RK as I stood tall against him, shaking the witch by the hair that I still clutched within my hand tightly, "Your mate would be ashamed to see you now, you never deserved her, you are pathetic compared to my mother."
