"Y/N, its been at least 2 hours since we started this journey." Phil moaned, resting his head on the back of the seat.
"Phil, shut up. We're not stopping until we find that book even if this go on for 5 more hours!" You said, eyes on the road. You were looking for a book; the scorch trials to be specific.
"But, its literally 8:00. They're probably about to close. Just order it online." Phil said, looking out of the window staring at the dark blue sky.
"There!" You said, pointing at a bookstore nearby.
"Finally!" Phil screamed, his voice hinting relief.
You parked the car at went straight inside, not bothering to wait for Phil.
You scanned the bookshelves until you finally saw it, After 2 hours.
"There's always a distinct smell to bookstores..." You hear Phil mumble to himself.
After 20 more minutes of scanning bookshelves, you finally went to the cashier.
After paying for the book. You finally went inside the car and started the engine.
"Finally. Why did I even have to come?" Phil questioned
"So, you can keep me company."
"You're lucky, I like you."
