Chapter 22

Toby's P.O.V

I knew that I had recongized that old dude from somewhere. I can't believe I didn't realize it first and now Nate knows who he is. He might blackmail her about it.

Does she even know? I'm going to have to ask her.

A smirk suddenly appeared on my face when I saw the old guys expression change from tough to confusion and fianlly realisation.

"Well, well. If it isn't Mr and Mrs West. I wonder if Veronica knows about this?" And thats how I got my answear.

Sandra - I remeber Jade's mom name from the packet- stiffened and emotion flashed trough her eyes. Robert -Jades dad- also stiffened but covered it fast. Im sure that Nate caught that. He can cath anything at any given second.

"Hold up. Are you saying that these old people here are that hot chicks parents?" Dash asked from beside me.

It took a lot in me not to turn around and punch him square in the face for calling her that. But I'm sure that my position gave it all away because I saw Nate smirk beside me in satisfaction.

Oh God, he knows.

"How do you know that bitch?" The lady asked. She seemed to be back in control because she was shooting daggers at us. But my smirk wasn't even close to fading.

"Well, for one I'm that guy that you yelled trough the phone to get a new parthner 'cause the one I had was too stupid" I said re-calling the time that Jade and I wouldn't stop blushing.

Now, that I think about it im sure that she thaugh that I was gay because not even I thought that I could blush this much.

"Who are you?" The man asked.

I guess Nate decided to take this one because he stepped foward and put a hand in my shoulder. "I'm Nathan Jameson. That one over there is Dash Hammer-"

"Im Pancho." And that was Roman, or should I say, Pancho.

Nate just rolled his eyes but didn't respond to him. "Thats Pancho. And this right here." He came closer to me and put a hand on my shoulder. "Is my dear friend Toby Crater."

I'm a hundreath percent sure that he said my last name more crystal clear so they would get scared.

The woman looked at me for a while and studied my face. Well, isn't that freking nice.

Nate suddenly walked towards them, took the brown bag from the guys hand, and walked back towards me. "I'm going to have so much fun with this." Then he walked towards the car and got in.

I took one more look at Jades parents and walked towards the car with Dash and Roman.

I got into the street and saw that Sandra and Robert had already gotten in their car as well. "Check if the packets complete." I instroucted Dash and Roman.

"Everything is here." Roman said sniffing the stuff.

"Put that away if you don't want to get in trouble with the old rag." Nate said and hit Roman in the head with it.

"Fine." he grumbled his respons.

We were driving home already since it was getting pretty late. I had dropped off Veronica earlier before her parents caught her.

"Off to see that cockhead." I said and put a cigarrate in my mouth.
