School has ended and Jake quickly went home. Jake shut the door, took off his shoes and tried to find his brother, Thomas.
"Whats wrong Jake?" Jake's mom looked concerned.
"Ah, nothing, just trying to find Thomas."
"Oh, he's upstairs in his room as usual"
Jake rushed upstairs and knocked before he entered his brothers room. "Come in." Thomas said from inside. Jake opened the door and saw his brother reading his book on his large bed.
"Thomas you wont believe what just happened!" Jake said as he sat beside Thomas on his bed. Thomas looked at Jake "What happened?"
"That bully, Max, he had gone really crazy!"
"What did he say?"
"Something about a monster that tried to take him haha." Jake chuckled.
"But really though, some of my classmates had disappeared mysteriously including a girl in my class who was in the woods before she disappeared. The ones who came back also claimed that they saw a monster." Thomas replied
After that the mood changed in an instant.
"Are you saying you believe in this monster stuff?"
"I dont know its just strange."
"Anyways, just stay safe in your field trip, maybe its some kind of serial killer i dont know." Jake reminded.
"Okay."
Jake gave a pat on Thomas's back and left the room. He knew Thomas was scared.
3 days later, Thomas packed his bag and went to his school bus for his field trip and waved good bye to his mom and Jake. And that could be the last time Jake saw Thomas.
