After the conversation with Josh, as always Jake had to finish listening to his uninteresting classes except for History class. School has ended and Jake decided to walk to the library. Although it was rare for Jake to visit the library, it was only for finding information about the woods. Jake scrolled through the library nearly checking every book, he also went to the military section of the library, which only consisted of about 5 books. Unfortunately he found nothing, there was no information about the woods or the military base near his town. Confused, Jake instantly walked to the librarian. "Umm, is there any books about the military base in the woods?" Jake asked,
"What, there are no military bases in this town." The librarian replied.
"Wait, what?"
Jake left the library, "So it was really a myth." Jake thought to himself.
Jake decided to walk back home because the sun was starting to set. While walking back home Jake felt scared by something, so Jake walked faster. Nearly reaching his home, he heard a noise, it was a sound of heavy breathing. Jake turned back, no one, he was the only person walking on the sidewalk, but there were clearly a few cars on the roads. On the left of Jake was the woods, where there was a mesh fence separating the woods and the town. Jake paused walking and tried to listen again, the sound stopped for a few seconds then continued again. Jake looked to the left side, and there was something in the woods. Because it was dark it was only a silhouette, but certainly it was not an animal, it walked with 2 feet and had giant claws it was similar to a human but, it had a big mouth with giant spiky teeth, and had no hair.
Jake felt frightened and had goosebumps, by reflex, Jake dashed as fast as he can back to his house, Jake had discovered something new.
