The next day, it was 4 PM and the school has ended. Jake told everything to Josh about the strange creature he saw last night. Although Josh didn't quite believe him, he was still was up to the search just for the thrill.
"Jake, how are we going to get past this fence?" Josh asked as he thought of a way.
"I think the only way is to climb." Fortunately there was no barb wire.
After 2 minutes of constantly failing to climb the fence they had finally made it through. The forest looked different when the sun was setting, it looked like something out of a horror movie, tall trees and darkness. Josh gulped as they both started to walk into the forest,
"Do we have something to defend ourselves or something?" Josh asked.
"Yeah I have this." Jake replied as he pulled out a revolver out of his holster.
"Woah where did you get that!?" Josh jolted with surprise.
"Oh, it was my fathers gun before he died, I just took it out of my basement." Jake replied as he returned the gun back to his holster. Jake and Josh walked slowly to the forest being aware of their surroundings. Deeper into the forest Jake started to sweat and was ready to pull out the gun on his holster, Josh on the other hand, was only holding a flashlight considering it was turning pitch back. Going deeper into the woods, it felt like hours. Jakes hand had started to sweat and Josh was starting to whine because they haven't found anything.
"Jake."
"Yeah, is it the monster?!" Jake asked as he immediately pulled the gun out of his holster.
"No, look." Josh replied as he pointed to a light.
Jake and Josh suspiciously walked to the light, to their surprise it was coming from a military base. The military base was surrounded by electric mesh fences and it had about 2 military buildings, there was jeeps, soldiers that was armed with M16s, tanks and more inside it. And it turns out, the military base that was hidden inside the woods, was not a myth after all.
"Josh, quick hide!" Jake gasped as he pulled Josh to hide behind a bush.
"Josh, did u bring a camera?" Jake whispered.
"Oh, yeah i did." Josh pulled out his camera out of his bag and snapped several pictures of the military base.
"Hey how about the monster?"
"I don't know, we can search for it later or something."
Anyways, Jake and Josh were at least satisfied of what they found. After that, they decided to go back home without telling anyone of what they did.
