I'd love to be the kind of girl
who writes in her book margins
little notes on the sides
in the blank pages at the back
and at the front
I'd love to be the kind of girl
who carries a journal around
to jot down her ideas
and beautiful thoughts
so she can find them later
I'd love to be the kind of girl
who has a sketch book in her bag
to bring out slowly
to open up quietly with wide eyes searching
for colors and lines and ideas
I'd love to be that kind of girl
so I think I will be. :)
