I am a woman
I like pretty dresses
I like daisies and roses
I like make up and nail polish
I am a woman
My sister is a woman
She's not a fan of dresses
She likes books and writing
She likes drawing and you tube
She is a woman
My best friend is a woman
She likes comfort and messy buns
She likes laughing and singing
She likes blue and Netflix
She is a woman
My Mother is a woman
She likes Jesus and Jeans
She likes studying and prayer
She likes being a mum and sarcasm
She is a woman
There's a woman who loves sports
And another who hates them
There are women who like dressing up
And women who don't
They are still women.
There are women who like cars
Women who are engineers
Scientists, authors, interior designers,
House wives, CEO's, Officers,
Secretaries, moms, Principals
Women are fine alone
But we choose to stand by you
Choose to share our strength
Do not, I repeat do not
Make us regret our choices.
We are women
We are strong
We are talented
We are worth more
Than what we're given.
