It had become a long night for the girl with the caramel colored hair. She had expected things to change between her and Chris since Tirsdag, Tuesday night, but everything seemed to have stayed the same between the two. He had only once acknowledged her in the halls at Nissen and as for their math class together, they only chatted about the math problems. He messaged her and she replied back, but the messages were pretty dull and straight to the point.

She had hoped that at this party she'd stumble upon him and get into a heated make out session and maybe even talk to him considering that she was drunk and felt courageous to do it, but it had not yet occurred over the past two hours she'd been here. She was a bit bummed out because truly, that had been the only reason why she had come. Instead, she found herself in the arms of multiple guys that weren't him.

Her eyes searched the room until she finally caught sight of him. He was on the other side of the room leaning against the white wall with a beer pressed to his lips, his eyes hooded as he scanned the room. She danced slowly and seductively against the blonde haired guy she was with, but her mind wasn't on the dance or the blonde guy– it was on Chris. She scolded herself for thinking about him because he didn't deserve to be in her thoughts after what happened.

A bit frustrated with herself, Eva gently pushed the blonde away and made her way towards the large, red cooler in the kitchen. She propped the lid open and grabbed a beer and walked back to the large room where the dance floor was located. She leaned against the nearest wall and pressed the cool beer bottle to her lips, taking a long sip of the drink.

She noticed that her blonde dance partner found a new girl to dance with, who happened to be one of her friends.

Eva finished the beer and threw it away in the nearest trash can. She swayed and tripped a bit as she made her way toward Vilde and grabbed her wrist, pulling her out of the guy's grip and into her own bubble.

"I-I'm gonna do something," she slurred, "I probably won't remember tomorrow," Eva let go of Vilde's wrist and walked away, leaving Vilde standing there, dumbfounded by Eva's words. Eva wanted to make sure someone knew that she was about to do something, it made her feel more at peace.

Eva was drunk and she knew it. She knew she wouldn't remember anything from tonight which is why she had the guts to do what she was determined to do next. She pushed and squeezed through the sweaty bodies until she was finally at a close– but not too close– distance near Chris. He hadn't noticed her yet which was good, she needed time to think.

She swayed a bit as she walked closer to Chris, keeping her gaze on his face the entire time, waiting for him to notice her. He finally noticed her and their eyes locked. Surprise was evident on his face. He watched her as she approached him, but then a figure came between them blocking their view of each other. Chris was trying to get a glimpse of Eva, but the guy that came between them was a bit taller than Chris so it made it hard for him to see her.

She had looked determined on approaching him and he was eager to know why she had chosen to approach him since they hadn't talked much since that night.

He crushed the empty beer can and threw it on the ground and walked around the guy so he was standing right next to Eva.

He didn't look at the guy right away and instead watched Eva, but she wasn't paying any attention to him so Chris had no choice but to look at the guy.

Chris's eyes drifted from Eva to the guy in front of them. You've got to be kidding me, Chris thought as he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms while eying Lukas.
