Mmm... I could feel my body again. I flexed my fingers and toes. I wriggled my nose. Above my nose I should find my...eyes! I fluttered them open. Ow! The light seemed too bright. I shut my eyes immediately.
“Elizabeth?” A soft voice said. It sounded too close.
I opened my eyes. Someone’s face was covering the light.
The strangers face was absolutely gorgeous. He had chocolate brown eyes and hair that slicked across his forehead. There were little circlets of white around his iris’s. An infinite sadness were written all over his eyes.
I felt my heart lurch. The effect this guy gave me made my insides turn. I could feel a warmth come to my cheeks. My eyes were still wide, but now they had a new reason to be like that.
“Um...” I mumbled.
“Don’t you remember me?” He asked.
I looked over his features again. Now that he mentioned it, he did seem more familiar. But I don’t know if it was a good familiar or a bad familiar.
The way his cheekbones jutted out like that... His lips forming into that wonderful smile...
“Dawson!” I exclaimed.
I pushed my self up and our lips connected. They seemed to know each pattern they formed. Like we did this all the time. I couldn’t remember this happen before.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to my body. His lips twitched slightly. I released myself immediately.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing. It’s just that your a lotstronger than before,” He said.
“Oh,” I said, vaguely surprised.
I could feel another presence behind the door. I looked back at Dawson. He looked different. More clear. I could also sense the difference between our energies. He was a Soul Killer, my mind told me.
You’re not.
I almost choked. We would never be the same again. We wouldn’t be equal. I held back a sob.
There was a light knock on the door.
“Can I come in?” a voice that resembled silver bells said.
I ran at the door and tackled whoever was there. Another stranger. Someone with a very negative aura. Powerful, negative aura.
“Ah!” She gasped.
She had blond hair, that practically looked pink. Her eyes were silvery rose colored. The thing that really caught my eye were her pupils. They looked like they should be on a cat. They were big. No, they were humungous. She was definitely not human. Too bad, I was hungry.
I hoisted myself off her. Everything in my head screamed dangerous. I looked at her threw narrow eyes.
“She didn’t recover most of her memory, huh?” She asked Dawson.
“Not yet. She didn’t recognize me at first,” He said.
“That’s very surprising. Usually you would recognize your soulmate right away...” She said and gave Dawson a suspicious glance.
I ran behind Dawson.
Dawson, who is this woman?
She’s your sister.
I blinked twice. Searching, I found some memory of her. The kidnapping, the feeding frenzy, and her lethal yet beautiful body coming to rescue me...
