"You know what, I don't think her father likes us," Mel pointed out quietly. Everyone glared at him. "Did you just realize that?!" Snowball exclaimed, ready to launch himself at the pug but Ozone and Leonard held him back. "I don't like the way he looked at me," Duke admitted, shuddering as he remembered the cold look that he received. Ozone and Tiberius muttered an agreement. "I like her mother's attitude but her father really creeps me out," Buddy remarked, Sweetpea nodding his head at the thought of the memory.
"Whether we want to or not, we still have to meet them," Chloe grumbled, rolling her eyes. Pops patted her on the back, causing Chloe to step away from the elderly dog. "I guess we better get ready for lunch," Max declared, letting out a long sigh.
"Don't worry Max," Duke reassured his brother, "What is the worst that could happen?"
