Knocks angrily pounded on Gidget's door that morning. Pausing her favorite show, she padded over and slowly opened the door. Max burst inside, a scowl carved on his face. "You're cheating on me?!" he growled. Shocked, Gidget struggled to find the right words when he continued, "You don't need to say anything! Rocky told me everything!"
"My father?! Max, I would never cheat on you! My father is lying to you!" Gidget reasoned, sensing her father was behind this mess. But Max didn't listen to her pleas as he barked, "Enough with your lies! I'm breaking up with you!" Without another word, he slammed the door behind him.
Heartbroken, Gidget collapsed on the floor in tears.
