Despite the fact that the cameras were placed in various parts of the city and were rolling constantly, they never picked up any signs of the big dog for the next two days. To Max, it felt like Duke had disappeared without a trace. He was deeply worried for his brother. But just before he thought all hope was lost, Snowball finally announced a breakthrough in the case.
"So as you can see," Snowball pointed out to the other pets, "Near this alley, we can see a giant dog moving around the middle of the night. You can tell it's Fat Dog because you can see a collar on him." Chuckling quietly to herself, Chloe added, "Not to mention the fact that there's no other dog like him." However, the tabby didn't exactly have a whispering voice and received dirty looks from everyone. Clearing his throat, Max declared, "I think we should head there right away. There'll be two groups on the ground and Tiberius will search from the sky." Glancing at the hawk, the small dog realized one tiny problem with that plan. The old hawk was still suffering from double vision.
Suddenly, Linda burst into the room, her eyes wide open with terror. Hugging Gidget, she cried, "Rocky is missing!"
