This is a really, really short Christmas oneshot for good ol' Jonathan. Even Scarecrow needs some love my friends.

The only thing that could describe the house was the word "peaceful". There was no yelling, just a comfortable silence that blanketed the house. (Y/N) was calmly reading a book while trying to keep the crow, that was currently perched on her shoulder, comfortable. Jonathan on the other hand was scribbling down new notes for research (among other things). Even though it was Christmas Eve, there were no decorations, not even a Christmas tree. It was as if the couple neither knew nor cared that tomorrow would be Christmas.

(Y/N) and Jonathan were very busy people. Both of them would much rather focus on their careers than some silly holiday made to force parents to buy their children presents. The funny thing was not that they had no idea that Christmas was tomorrow, no, it was the fact that Jonathan noticed first.

"What day is it dear?" Jonathan questioned offhandedly.

"The twenty-fourth," (Y/N) responded calmly.

Jonathan froze. Had he really forgotten about Christmas? He had.

"And what day is it tomorrow by chance?" Jonathan asked tentatively.

(Y/N) looked at him strangely, "The twenty-fi-... shit..."

Jonathan chuckled, "Its official, we forgot Christmas." Jonathan continued laughing while (Y/N) let out various curses.

"So do we even have any food?" She asked.

Jonathan shook his head, "No, unless you want fear toxin induced chicken."

(Y/N) groaned again, "Shit."
