"The big room where the injured are, it has big lockable doors. If we put the children in there they should be safe. Have some older people inside and outside the doors just in case but its the safest option I believe." I told them.

"But what if the tunnels are invaded?" Asked Jack concerned. "They be killed."

"We can't have them running around on the fields above ground. They'll be killed anyway. It our best option." I told them. "We will lock all the doors and have guards but we don't have anywhere else. We can't let them run into the woods alone but we can give them supplies just in case."

"We won't have time to handout supplies during a battle." Jack announced.

"But we will before hand." I told him. "Have the kids carry around prepacked bags or already have them packed waiting for the attack. The kids come first." I left an important detail out if my plan for the kids but I didn't fully trust everyone in all the clans. It was hard to keep this from them but I knew it was for their own good.

"Okay. What about our weapons, the guards, secret signals and other things. What are we going to do to beat the evil king?" Rose asked.

"We'll just get everyone who knows how to make weapons and get them to craft more. Maybe even get them to teach others so more can be made." Stephanie said before I could speak. She had become very helpful to me over the past few days, taking control of the food being made for everyone so that I had time to control the build and the hunts as well as where everyone was sleeping. I smiled at her thankfully knowing I could trust her.

"And I also had a plan for the guards that will be put into place tomorrow. I will also be taking some workers of the houses to build guard towers." I stated. "Signals are being sorted out as we speak." As if brought on by my words the loud sound if a horn was heard.

"What does that mean?" Another councillor asked.

I stood up. "It means everyone is coming into the camp." I walked out of the room and headed to the entrance so I could be above ground. I met amber at the doorway as I emerged.

"Is it sorted?" Amber asked with worry.

"Yes." I told her. Amber had helped me sort out the details in everything and had been out informing the builders and guards if our plans. A little girl walked back to Amber and handed her a note. The girl looked dirtier than all the other kids her clothes more worn. "Who is this?" I asked Amber.

"A little girl that helped me tell everyone in time. The builders are already making places for the towers." She informed me reading the paper. "The guards are sorting themselves out and will be ready for tomorrow."

I looked at the little girl, "Which clan are you from?" I asked her kindly.

"I live here," she answered. "In a little room on the east side of the tunnels."

"Do your parents sleep in a room next to you?" I asked her.

"I don't have any." She said confused.

I was confused at her answer, "May I see your room?" I asked her kindly. She grabbed my hand and walked off. With her leading the way I became horrified as I realised she had been sleeping in a room meant for blankets and sheets. She opened the door and I peered inside of the little room. On a shelf she had a backpack that had some food in it and little broken hand made toys sitting next to it. The room looked as if she had been there a while, she had two blankets lying on the floor for a bed.

I kneeled down to be at her height, "What's your name?"

"Louise." She answered.

"Louise. That's a pretty name." I said smiling at her. "Why don't you come stay with me for a while. You'll have more room to move."
