Chapter 11: Rebuilding

Cristin’s POV

“Onee-chan! It fell! It won’t fly again…” Ginny then pouted after seeing the bird fall and the screen said with capital ‘GAME OVER’. She’s actually playing Flappy Bird, the annoying bird game that you have no idea why people got addicted to it.

“Onee-chan, how come you got a high school! No fair! >3<” instead of being annoyed by my little sister’s continues buggy I just find it adorable.

“Ma ma… you’ll be able to beat it. I know you can ^____^” then I patted her head and he just gave me her adorable pout.

The two of us are in the living room as we wait for Tita to finish cooking our lunch.

DING DONG~!!!!

Hm? Maybe it’s Justin…

“I’ll get-“

“Ah! Onee-chan! The battery went sayonara!”

“Ako na Sugar, go get the charger for the tablet. Kaw rin, Bunny will go trantrum” Tita Sheila joked.

Nga pala, ibang tawag ni Tita kay Ginny, Bunny, parang Bunny rabbit lang kasi ang cute daw niya tsaka ang innocente tignan. Mahilig rin naman si Ginny sa rabbits eh.

“Opo Tita Sheila” tumaas na ako bago pa mag tantrums si Ginny.

Alam ko asa kwarto ni Ginny ung charger. Teka… ayun, tinambak lang sa kama niya.

Tinignan ko ang paligid ng kwarto ni Ginny. Actually, I hate going to this room… eto ung kwarto ni Luki when he used to stay with us. Iba na ang kulay ng walls at ibang iba na ang mga gamit dito pero… kahit bihira lang ako pumapasok sa kwartong ito noon. At least back then… I knew when I opened this door… I know he’ll be in here. I knew he would always be here if I needed him. I was so sure I’ll always find him in here… but now…

I just shook my head and went out. Before I closed the door I took one last glance at the room then shut the door.

Pag baba ko nakita ko si Ginny nag mumuktol na dun.

“Ginny… behave. Here, let’s charge it” tas kinuha ko na ang tablet niya saka sinaksak ang charger then plug it in. Tumigil na sa pagwawala si Ginny saka inon nalang ang TV at nag play ng kung anong palabas na gusto niya. Ay… pokemon pala. Kumpleto DVDs ko niyang eh. Updated siya. Tutal parehas kaming Anime lover nito ayan, yan ang pinapanood. Actually mabagal pa siya magbasa kaya pinapanood ko muna sa kanya ung English dubs kaysa subs. Di pa siya ready doon eh.

“Tita, who was that?”

“Ah! Sugar, baby dito” tas pumunta ako sa kusina.

There I saw her standing…

“Len, hey…”

“Hi Crissy. I was wondering if we could hang out. But it seems like you’re busy taking care of your sister. Ang cute niya. Kamukha mo! Hehe… ^___^”

“Sorry ha.  Sabi k okay Tita di muna ako lalabas ngayon eh…”

“Oks lang Crissy, gusto mo samahan muna kita?”

“Ah… wag na. Mainip ka pa dito”

“Why not let her Sugar? After all, after lunch may pupuntahan muna ako. I need to go grocery then I’ll be stopping at the office. Need to pick up some stuff your mom sent me. Address nanaman ng office ang nilagay niya eh. Samahan ka muna ni Ellen”

“Oh, yun pala eh. So Crissy? Please! Please! PLEASEEEE~”

“A-Ah… *sighs* looks like I have no other choice”
