[Third Person]
It's the night of her big opening and Karina is a nervous wreck.
Everything is in place. The people are slowly arriving and she's sitting on her bed, dressed in her red robe, shaking from something she couldn't explain.
Her hair was all done as well as her make up, her beautiful gown was ready, hanging in her closet. She was minutes away from celebrating the opening of her boutique, but there was a feeling in the pit of her stomach.
"Karina..." Lisa calls walking into her room. However, Karina was too wrapped up in her own thoughts to acknowledge her friend.
"Karina why aren't you dressed?" Lisa asks.
Suddenly Karina snaps out of her trance, admiring her friend who was dress in an elegant black gown with shoes and accessories to match.
"Karina, you need to get dressed. Your mom is downstairs freaking out, and-" Lisa cuts her sentence short, noticing her friends tears in her eyes.
"Karina, what-"
"H-he's gonna b-be there." She stammer, sniffling.
Lisa sighs. "Yes. You invited him."
"I'm not ready." She softly sobs.
"Karina..."
"I can't... I can't- Face him." She stammers freaking out. Her breathing becomes faster, tears falling from her eyes, down her cheeks.
"Sweetie don't cry." Lisa says, grabbing a tissue and dabbing her cheeks.
"I-I c-can't Lisa. I'm not ready-"
"You listen to me, Karina Rose... You are a strong young woman. You are a rock. Hunny I know. I know how much it scares you to face him. You've practically been hiding in your moms house, trying your best to avoid him. But Karina... You can't hide from him forever." She explains fixing her make up.
"He's deeply sorry that he hurt you. And he wants to make it right. Now, you need to get up off of this bed... Put your beautiful gown on and get ready for your grand opening. Okay?" She smiles.
Karina musters a small smile. "O-okay." She stammers, sniffling just a little.
A few minutes later, Karina was dressed in her beautiful red gown. It was strapless and fit her body perfectly. She had to admit. She looked gorgeous. And that put a genuine smile on her face.
She slips on her silver heels, adding her jewelry. She checked her make up, adding just a little more gloss to her red lips. She sighs after admiring herself once more.
"Karina! C'mon mamacita! We need to go!" She hears Lisa as she uses her Mexican accent. She smiles grabbing her phone.
"I'm coming!" She yelps walking out if her room downstairs.
"Holy shit! Look at you!" Lisa exclaims watching her very sexy best friend strut down the stairs.
"Look at you. My baby. Going to her first opening." Ms. Brent says hugging her daughter.
"Thanks Mama." She says as they all head into the car and head to the party.
"Congratulations Karina!" Ms. Pattie squeals running up to hug her.
"Thanks Ms. Pattie." She says smiling.
"And you look beautiful! Doesn't she Jeremy?"
"Gorgeous." He smiles.
"Thank you both so much." She says. She pauses her movements when she sees Justin walking into the door. Her heart beat speeds up, her breathing as well.
