[Third Person]

It was a peaceful silence in the Bieber House. Justin woke up, staring down at Karina's peaceful face as she laid against his chest. He smiles warmly, pecking her temple. He gets up slowly, leaving her sleeping peaceful under the covers.

As Karina laid in the bed, a sharp pain rips through her lower stomach making her jump up in the bed.

"Holy shit." She pants holding her lower stomach. She had felt this feeling before. A few years ago. It can't be happening again.

"Ah!" She cries, clenching the sheets. Her breathing speeds up, tears falling from her eyes.

"Karina?" Justin calls from the door. He rushes to her side, trying to understand what was wrong.

"I-it... I-it's h-happening a-again." She stammers, crying as she held her stomach.

"What's happening? What's wr-" he starts to say but is cut off when he sees his sheets stained with blood.

"I-I n-need... I-I n-need... Ah!" She cries out, sobbing as she bends over clutching her stomach.

"B-baby t-tell me... What's wrong?" He stammers.

"C-call m-my d-doctor... H-his n-number i-is in m-my p-phone." She stammers.

Justin quickly grabs her phone, searching for the number.

"Dr. Granes speaking." A masculine voice answers.

"This is Justin. I'm Karina's boyfriend. She's in a lot of pain and-"

"Is she bleeding?" He asks.

"Yes."

"Is she having sharp pains?"

"Y-yes." Justin croaks.

"What's your address son?" He asks. Justin gives it to him, telling him where to come.

"I'll be there soon." He says hanging up the phone.

And soon he was there, medical bag in hand. Justin leads him to Karina who was still tossing and turning in the bed.

"Karina... I'm here hunny. It's going to be alright. Okay?" He reassures her.

"P-please... M-make it stop." She begs, sobbing harder.

"I will." He says preparing a needle.

"W-what's wrong?" Justin asks.

"Well... She needs a little morphine so I'm preparing an IV." He says sticking the needle in her arm.

Soon, the morphine was administered and the pain slowly subsided. Karina's sobs slowly turned into soft breathing and then she fell asleep.

"Now... I'll send a nurse in about an hour to get rid of all this. But I'm giving you these for her if the pain should come back. She should take one after she eats breakfast, and before she goes to sleep." Dr. Granes explains. Justin nods taking the medication.

"Doctor... What's wrong with her? what was that?" Justin asks.

The doctor lets out a sigh, pulling Justin out the room.

"When she was eighteen, she had a sexual encounter with a young man and ended up pregnant, but nobody knew about it. Until she woke up in the middle of the night with horrible cramps." He explains.

"She had a miscarriage. And now everytime that time of the month comes, she has these cramps that only last for a day a slowly leave after the second day."

"So... Basically what you're saying is she's on her period?" He asks dumming it down.

"Yeah." Dr. Granes says.

Justin looks at the bedroom door. He couldn't believe his ears.

"I have to get going. But I'll be sending that nurse in an hour so make sure you be ready, okay?"

"Okay. How long will she be asleep?" He asks.

"Um... Maybe thirty minutes. Maybe an hour." He explains.

"Ok. Thanks again doc." Justin says seeing Dr. Granes to the door.

When he returned, he sat in the chair across from the bed, staring at Karina as she slept. She looked so peaceful and pain free. But why didn't she tell him about the miscarriage?

He needed answers. And as much as it would hurt her to tell him, he needed to hear it from her.
