"I guess you don't know what you got 'til it's gone." My Everything, Ariana Grande.

Ariana

"I'm nervous." I admitted, playing with my fingers. Calum and I were at this old gas station that went out of business, but the lights were still fully working, surprisingly.

What Calum and I needed to do was try and contact our family over the phone just one last time before we move on with our lives. This is a big night, and chances are this might be the last time we'll ever see each other. He told me after the battle, The Savages will be moving to a whole different country. As for The Projectiles, well I have no idea honestly. Scooter never told us anything.

"It's okay, Ari. Whether they want to speak to us or not, we tried." He handed his iPhone to me, the home phone already dialed in. All I needed to do what hit 'call' and wait for someone to pick up.

I gently took the phone out of his hands, looking down at it. The same phone number we've had ever since I first memorized it. Calum placed his hand on my shoulder, giving me a light squeeze. I took a deep breath, and hit the green button. The phone was already on speaker.

After 6 rings, the phone went to voicemail.

You have reached the family of Joan, Edward, Elizabeth, Kayla, and our new addition to the family, William. If you are a frequent caller and have noticed that Ariana and Calum aren't mentioned anymore, that's because they are now disgraces to this family and picked the gang life over their own flesh and blood. If this so happens to be Ariana and/or Calum calling, don't ever call back. We are ashamed of you two. We didn't raise you two like this! How could you do this to our family? Pick drugs, weapons, and fights over your own family? We loved you like there was no tomorrow, and you do this to us? After everything that we have done and sacrificed for you? You know what, you are dead to us. Dead.

The line went dead, and my heart completely fell out of my chest.

"O-Our family hates us." I croaked out, swallowing the lump in my throat. My parents. My older sister. My younger sister. William....

"Ariana-"

"Can we go back to the hideouts? I-I just want to get some sleep and get this shit over with."

"Ariana, let's stay here for a little bit longer. This might be the last time we'll ever see each other, and I don't know if I'll be able to stay in contact with you anymore." I just got my brother back, and he's already leaving me. Again. This time, for good.

"Okay, we can stay here a little while longer."

Calum and I ended up staying at the gas station for about an hour. We talked about the good times we had, the bad times we had, and other stuff. It was a really heart-felt moment we had, considering that was the last moment we would ever have.

We drove back to our hideouts, and shared a very long, tight, passionate hug. We shared cheek kisses, and walked our separate ways. I couldn't help but shed a few tears as I was walking away from him. I only had 6 months with my brother, and now I won't see him ever again. He doesn't know where The Savages will be going, so I can't visit him at all or try to find a way to contact him.

I arrived at the hideout, and noticed Ryan pacing around with a nervous look on his face. "Ryan?" I called out, stepping closer to him cautiously. He took his head out of his hand, looking over to me. He sighed of relief, walking over to me and engulfing me in a tight hug.

"Ariana, you were gone for like an hour! I thought something happened to you." I awkwardly patted his shoulder, pushing him off of me after not breathing from the tight hug.
