"Feel like a failure, 'cause I know that I failed you. I should've done you better, 'cause you don't want a liar." - One Last Time, Ariana Grande.
*2 weeks later*
Ariana
It's one day before the big battle with The Savages, and everybody is ready. The weapons are in duffle bags. Everyone is trained well and confident that we will win this fight. I had to triple-check the blue prints and command prints in the system to make sure that the weapons are armed and nowhere in sight so that way The Savages won't know what's coming. Since Justin, Ryan, and I won't be participating in the fight, I had to teach Aaron everything about the tactics and electronics that comes along with this fight. Surprisingly, he caught on very quickly and knows everything.
When Scooter opened up to me 2 weeks ago, I seriously couldn't believe how much of a tough life he actually lived. He's a husband with two daughters who are probably in their 30s now, and a wife who is probably in her 40s or 50s or something. The fact that I remind him so much of his daughter and that I'm the only person who knows about his life story is really touching honestly.
Telling Justin and Ryan about the plan didn't go too well. Justin is still upset with me, so he just completely ignored me like my existence was unknown. As for Ryan, well, he threw a temper tantrum.
"Ariana, fuck that! I'm not doing it!" He screamed, throwing his hands up into the air.
I held my hands up, signaling him to calm down and listen to me. "Ryan, calm down. It's a good plan! My brother promised me that he took out his best members and he's taking them with him, so I'll be doing the same thing. He's my brother, so I trust him!" I exclaimed, also throwing my hands up in the air. No matter how many times I try to talk to him, he just yells and doesn't listen.
I had to take him to Scooter's office because at that point, Scooter would be the only person that he would listen to. So, after Scooter told him the plan, suddenly Ryan was okay with it! What the hell man?
As for Justin, he was just like "Whatever, I'll do it." I still try to talk to him, but he's just being so complicated right now. He still avoids me like I killed someone. Well, I have a few times, but still! He's being so dramatic and acts like he's the only person who I kept the secret from.
It's whatever. We're still on the break and hopefully we'll go back to the way we were because I really hate being away from him and not feeling his touch on me.
While I was just walking around with my thoughts, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my body around to see Justin standing in front of me with some look on his face I couldn't read. "Can we talk?" He questioned. Oh okay, so after 2 weeks of avoiding me like I'm nothing, now you want to talk?
"Sure."
I am a smitten idiot.
I followed Justin into our room, and everything felt so different. Ever since the day that I told him about Calum, I've been sleeping in Scooter's office on his couch that turns into a bed. It's actually really cool and comfortable. Being in this room after about 3 weeks was strange to me.
Closing the door behind him, I kept a good 10 feet distance between us. His back was leaning on the door with his hands on his lower back. Now it was my turn to be mad at him. At least it's a good reason, he's being a bitch about the situation and won't give me a chance.
"What do you want Justin? Get this over with so you can just go back to ignoring me and making me feel unwanted." He sighed and walked towards me, taking my hands and holding my fingers. The same tingly feeling I get in my stomach every time he does simple things like that was starting to come back, and I liked it.
