Lanoir signed and hugged a pillow to her chest as she watched the corny romance film play across the screen. She had waken in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. She felt like she had been sleeping a lot lately. She was restless, Lanoir had considered bring Abby with her. She could offer her a great and protective home. But that was before she became a walking target. She couldn't afford to put at risk , Abby had already been  through alot and Lanoir didnt want to add to that. And she never thought about having a kid. She had never thought that far in her life.

Could she even be a good mother? Her mother hadn't been the best example to her but she could try to be better. She always wanted a family to call her own but could she even have one with Jaxs? Did she want one with a man who killed people? Honestly Lanoir could see past his dark past if he gave up on that life and focused on just being a regular man. But she didn't know if that's what he wanted.

Closing her eyes she laid there thinking of him, she realized that she missed him and wanted him to come and find her.

Opening her eyes she saw movement by the window. She didn't know what it was. Jumping up she stood near the door her body tense. She was to afraid to look out the window in fear that it could be a creep trying to break into their room.

The shadow came closer and closer and her hand reached out towards the blue umbrella in the corner, her breath getting heavier and the thud in her ears loud. Panic seeping into her body. The knob slowly twisted as she raised the umbrella over her head.

The creaking of the door sounded and in stepped Jaxs. Her eyes closed and she sighed in relief at the fact that he had come for her. He had found her, she couldn't be anymore happy. Dropping the stick she  ran towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck. His arms quickly wrapped around hers as her lifted her. They basked in the feeling of each other. Removing her head from his shoulder she looked up into his eyes.

"You came."  she whispered, she didn't want to wake Abby

"Of course I will always find you Lanoir, no matter what." he said

Coming apart they just stood in silence. Lanoir was surprised when he kneeled before her . His face pressed against her thighs as his arms held onto her. Lanoir felt his breath against her leg as he took deep breaths. Lanoir ran her hands through his thick mane and enjoying the soft wavy texture.

They didn't speak as she knew that he was crying, she could tell by the wetness she felt against her shirt.

He said something against her , so softly she couldn't catch it and she leaned closer so she could hear something. She saw him inhale deeply and look up at her, wordlessly, his eyes tracing her face like he was seeing the promise land. But she could see the turmoil in his grey eyes.

"I would give up everything i own just to have you with me forever." he said

She blinked in confusion, "What" she whispered not understanding his choice of words.

The seriousness she see in his eyes took her breath away. "Everything i have i would give it away to be with you. When i came back and didn't see you in the house i lost it. The thought that they had taken you, broke me. I need you Lanoir."

She looked on with with wide eyes as he exposed himself to her. She was speechless.

"You are my everything." his unwavering stare and the conviction in his voice. Lanoir had no doubt that he meant every word he said.

Tears blurred her vision as she sunk down to the floor and embraced him, she couldn't get enough of holding him.

He wasted no time and brought his lips towards

Lanoir glanced over at Abby and saw that she was still sleeping  and smiled.

"Is she the little girl whose parents abandoned her?" he asked

"Yes, she's an amazing little girl." she said while smiling at her. This experience that she had with Abby was proof that she wanted a kid in the future.

Jaxs looked over at Lanoir and realized that he wanted to give her that. A family, but he didn't know if he should. There was a difference between wants and needs. He frowned at the thought at not being able to make her happy.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he saw her stiffen. His eyes darken and the beast was back in control ready to protect what he considered his everything.
