Lanoir steady her breathing as she made a quick turn around the corner. Her legs pushing the pedals as fast as her legs would take her. She needed to get some stem off her chest, work was going okay but she found herself becoming more aggravated as the days went on. Maybe it was because she hadn't seen him in over a week. Bending down more to the handles she gained more speed as she went down hill. The alarming fast pace didn't worry her, she had done this many time. Everything blurred as she came closer to her finish. Leaning up she pushed the curved brake handles and her bike slowed down. When it was slow enough she placed her leg down to completely stop the blue metallic bike.

Catching her breath she reached down and drank from her purple water bottle. Than she proceeded to pour some onto her chest and face. She was always thinking about his wear abouts. Was he safe? Was he even alive? That mere thought made her stomach twist in a painful way. At first she just thought that he was busy and would stop by the next night. But after three days and no type of sign from him she was worried. Why are you so caught up over a guy you barely know Lanoir ? she scolded herself.

Taking a deep breath she walked over to a bench and decided to take a rest. She was tired from her ride. Lanoir had always had a hard time trusting people. She suspected it came from her rocky relationship she had with her parents. If they couldn't love you who would? But that didn't stop her from trying to be the best daughter she could possible be. Her father hadn't been around all the time because he worked late hours. Her mother was bitter and scornful and always belittled her. But at rare moments she showed Lanoir that she cared for her. Even if she didn't always show it. But caring and love are two different things.

So at a young age she developed thick skin and learned to love herself. And over the years she learned that love came from different places like from friendship. The sun was setting fast so it was about time to start heading home. The park wasn't the safest place to be at night time. Even though she knew this wasn't  the safest place her thoughts still wonder. So of course she didn't notice the hand reaching out and pulling her into a space.

Snapping out of her thoughts she pushed against the body of her attacker. Fuck. fuck . fuck. She thought as she tried to free herself but she couldn't.

"Lanoir Calm down." a deep voice said. While spinning her around and pressing her up against the cold brick wall.

Lanoir did the exact opposite and struggled harder. But she stopped once she felt a large firm hand rub against her cheek down to her lips. Now she knew exactly who this was. She couldn't even enjoy the fact that he had just said her name, she was pisssed. Standing still she placed her arms down to the side while he caged her in.

" What are you doing out here, it's dangerous." he said

How dare he try to scold her when he had simply just disappeared!

"Oh so now you show up ? I can walk wherever the hell I want at anytime I want." she said through gritted teeth

"You're not aware of your surrounding and you're not aware of people who are following you."

"Like you! You're following me." she yelled

All the anger she felt the past week came tumbling out of her.

"Do you have a death wish !" it's not safe for you out here" The low harsh voice against her made her freeze. She really couldn't believe how much he was talking to her. She look up and noticed that he wasn't wearing his mask. But the hood he wore covered his features.

"What were you doing out here." he asked again

"I was biking and on my way home, when I was snatched in here."

He was silent, trying to compose himself. " You should biking this time of day It dangerous."

"What was dangerous was allowing a stranger to come inside my place but hey It's clear I have a thing for danger." she remarked sarcastically.

"We shouldn't see each other anymore..." She whispered, Lanoir wouldn't allow herself to be deluded by a man she didn't even know. She had been foolish to allow herself to crush on a guy she didn't even know. How do you know a guy for a month and have never seen his face.

"Don't say that. Don't push away what we have" He said his breath fanning against her ear making her shiver his grip on her waist had tighten

"Why shouldn't I ? we don't  have anything. Except sitting on my couch watching cheesy horror flicks. That I secretly enjoy watching way too much.We don't have anything" she said rambling, she couldn't really think straight when he was so close to her personal space.

"Don't lie to yourself Lanoir." His voice was soft and commanding. His words were aren't up for argument. She noticed how his hands made small circles around her hips.

Her walls were slowly crumbling. "You just disappeared and didn't leave me anything to let me know you were okay. What am I supposed to think? I couldn't even get a decent nights sleep, because I was worried and then I just became pissed off. You can't just come to me when you feel like it. I'm not a fucking toy to be toyed with" she said

"Lanoir tell me to stay away if you don't want to see me anymore."

She tried to make herself say she didn't want to have anything to do with him. But she couldn't she became choke up and tried to see through her tears.

"Tell me!" he growled out.

Lanoir was scared that if she said those words he would leave her , like everyone else had. She didn't want to be alone anymore. So she did the only thing she could, stepping aside away from him.

"Whatever this was. It's done. It's not going to work." she whispered not daring to look at him.

"Lanoir."

She heard him whisper, she heard rejection in his tone. Lanoir couldn't take it anymore and she ran not caring about her bike. Running as fast as her legs would take her. She couldn't even see properly, blinded by her tears.

"Lanior!" she heard him yell. He was coming after her! Stopping she tried to catch her breath and calm her wildly beating heart.

Her knees shook but she didn't dare look into those Stormy grey eyes that would draw her right back to him. She felt his frame close over her as he lift her face towards him. Closing her eyes she didn't want to look.

"Look at me." His deep baritone commended softly. He wouldn't release the soft grip he had on her chin. Slowly she open her brown eyes and was met with the sight of his face. Not just any face, he was perfect. She had never laid eyes on a man so beautiful.

His face was perfectly formed and defined. Sharp cheekbones and a nose that was not to full not to long, it was just right. His skin was sun kissed and his lip were curved and plump. His dark brows blended in perfectly with his grey eyes.

Lanoir loved his eyes she could stare into them for ages and never grow tired. But she saw that they looked at her with worry. He was worried that she wouldn't like what she saw.

Lanoir didn't care if he wasn't as handsome, all she cared about was that he had allowed her to see him.
