C5: He's Finally Gone...?

~Eddie's POV~

As Aleks and I walked side by side behind our mothers I could feel Nick's eyes staring at both of us as we walked into the office with him.

He was being restrained by 2 officers, and had hand cuffs on. We walked in and looked at Nick; his eyes burning with hatred. His parents were sitting behing him on a bench, looking very dissapointed.

"Is this the boy who-" My mother began saying before Aleks answered coldly.

"Yes." He was looking down, his knuckles going white as his grip tightened on his backpack.

"Aleks..." I whispered to him, seeing his grip loosen a bit, he nodded and waited for one of the administrators to say something.

"Nick, what you have done today, is completey unacceptable. It will not be tolerated at this school. You shall be expelled and you are not allowed here ever again." The principal said, handing a form to his parents.

I was going to say something but then Aleks' mother spoke. "Is that all? Is he just going to be expelled?! He hurt my son and Eddie! Look at them!" she held Aleks close to her and started crying into his hair. My mom wapped her arms around my shoulders from behind me.

"Ma'am, we know it's hard, but we cannot do anything to this boy unless you wish to press charge on him for assault. Same for him." The cop said pointing at me.

Both of our mom's looked at eachother and nodded. "Both of us wish to press charges." They said calmly.

Nick scoffed and began to laugh.

Aleks looked up angrily and I had to hold him back.

"Why are you laughing?! After all of this, you think this is funny?! What did we ever do to you?!" Aleks kept swinging at Nick but after a bit his punches were becoming sloppy and he fell to floor on his knees and held himself in his arms.

I held him and looked at Nick threateningly, waiting for his response.

He chuckled darkly and looked up at our parents and us.

"I just think it's cute that a couple of fags think this is going to stop me... You think this is over? I'll make sure both of you pay. And the fact that you think Semaus and his little friends are going to protect you is dumb as shit... The others are still here and when I come back, it'll be 10 times worse."

"You stay away from them!" Seamus burst in from the hallway and stood in front us.

"Seamus I told you to-"

"I know Mr. Allens, but Nick needs to know this is the last time he'll see my new friends in this condition. They'll be safe with me, Nick, even if you think your punk ass friends will be able to do anything about it..." and with that Seamus walked out and left.

Mr. Allen's sighed and followed Seamus outside, leading him back to class.

"Okay I think it's about time we take him down to the station." The second cop said, shoving Nick out towards the door and into the cop car.

We could hear Nick shouting from outside, "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, THIS ISN'T OVER!!!"

Aleks trembled in my arms and his mom was telling him everything was okay, kissing his head and fixing the red beanie on his head.

It took all of us a long time to leave, but once we did, we just had Aleks' mom drive me to their house from school since we were still having the sleep over.

My mom knew I was safe at Aleks' anyway. She trusted Aleks' mom and vise versa. Ever since 6th grade.

When we got to their house, I said thanks to Aleks' mom and we both rushed upstairs, laughing and relishing in the thought that our bully was finally gone, and that we actually managed to finally get some friends...

Aleks plopped down onto his bed and threw his backpack on the other side if the room, me doing the same, then I plopped down next to him.

I still can't believe Nick is actually gone. He's gone!

I relished in these moments, staring back at Aleks eyes. His big brown eyes, that always have me staring at them for the longest moments, even while those moments may be 3-6 seconds long at most.

We literally stared at each other for a good minute before before bursting into a fit of laughter and getting ourselves so worked up, we were clutching or stomachs!

We laughing at fucking nothing!! And it was great.
